This is the 3rd year we have bought medallions or trophies from awards and trophies.. We will only be buying them here from now on. Not only are the prices very competitive and fair but the trophies and medallions are just lovely.. I love the service and the people and they go above and beyond to get all the spelling correct even so far as to call before printing.. this has saved me several times due to typos.. I highly recommend this business. read more

In 2006 I purchased a trophy & engraving business in Brisbane's western suburbs; the business has flourished since then and is now Australia's largest trophy retailer. My role within the business is constantly evolving but my main focus is website development and digital marketing. I have a real passion for e-commerce and can honestly say I'm stoked to come to work each day. Growing up with an unusual name, I have a few memories of people spelling Siobhan in, well,…read moreinteresting ways. The most memorable though is when I won a competition for singing and was handed an amazing trophy the size of my upper body, only to find that the engraver had misspelled my name. Utter devastation! It might as well not be me who has won the trophy! Ever since then I've been very dubious about using the services of an engraver. When it has to be done though, I walk in and a wave of panic comes over me along with the thought of "What if this person completely stuffs this up?". Unfortunately it's a risk that has to be taken. Recently I bought a beautiful quill for a friend who just finished their Law degree, and I needed to take it to be engraved. Someone suggested John Hammond to me, so I decided to give him a go. His beautiful store, located on the second level of Brisbane Arcade, calmed me down immediately. Surely someone with a whole shop dedicated to engraving is more capable than the silly head at Mr Minit who ruined my trophy (way to hold a grudge, Siobhan!). The engraving turned out beautifully and came at a reasonable price. Should I need something engraved again, I'll definitely be visiting John Hammond.
