We recently rented a car through Europcar at the Dijon train station. Our car was not on site. The…read moreagent said that we had to walk three blocks to get it with all of our luggage and our 6 year old. We refused. They went to get it and pulled up in a cargo van, a dented cargo van, and they expected for us (three people) to take the cargo van. The agent told us that there was no other car available. What happened to the car we reserved? We also tried to get the agent to alter our reservation when we realized we would be driving a lot of miles! He said that he could not do so. We were concerned about not only the excess cost in miles, but the way higher gas we would be paying with the large vehicle. My husband had to navigate the large van through narrow streets and we struggled to find parking everywhere we went. I have been reaching out to the company the last 6 weeks and they will not get back to me. Go with any agency but Europcar!
