The director verbally abused the caregivers during dinner service on mothers day in front of the residence and some family that was there. Cameras too. It was reported to the home office again but they ignored it. The residence family have the right to know. If you have family there talk to the people that have to work for this abusive director. The other employees are so good. It's this one person but unfortunately she is in charge.

My father has dementia and is a resident in the Terraces Unit of PVN. Let's start with the good…read more Sales process and the 2 ladies leading it is professional and not high pressure. The facilities are great. The residents rooms and bathrooms are private and spacious with high quality buildouts. The food is good. I've noticed generally high quality, tasty food getting served. The staff means well. I don't doubt the sincerity of the staff wanting to help improve the quality of life of the residents whether that mean providing activities in the common areas, get them medical care when needed, speak to them encouragingly when they need to be re-guided. The issues I ran into require a little bit of context. My father is averse to getting help on showers. The PVN nurse suggested we look into getting some meds to help on shower days and get some external extra help to provide showers for him. While I wasn't happy to pay for extra help, given the high cost of PVN I thought the request was presented in a professional manner. The issues come in with a lack of professional approach to medical management and follow-up. I consider these issues significant enough to ding PVN down to 2 stars. My father's doctor agreed that some medicines could help make shower days a little easier and that it was important for him to stay clean on a regular basis. The problem is that now, despite this being the PVN staff's idea, they are unable to get the medicines to my dad on the morning's of the shower days. They have missed this 3 out of the last 4 shower days, which then makes the task of giving showers a monumental task. It would seem that this would be easy to address given that they claim to give him his other medicines, but the one medicine that was introduced - effectively at their request - is something they seem unable or unwilling to give him. I have called numerous times and can get an answer about 50% of the time. I have sent 4 emails on this topic to the Head Nurse & her assistant and have a 0% response rate thus far. In my mind this boils down to poor leadership. I have no way of communicating with the senior leaders of PVN to get these issues addressed. The nurses ignore my emails, and worse, deny my father the access to medicines that will improve his and his fellow residents quality of life. it is my belief that PVN needs to fundamentally transform the culture and leadership of their organization. They are currently falling far short of their mission.

Medications are not given consistently. Someone with a key goes into patients rooms and takes things. Drugs run rampant throughout the facility. Especially Friday and Saturday nights. There are multiple choices to choose from on the menu as well as a standard menu, and everything I've had, as well as seen, has been outstanding! Believe me, In viewing other properties, most of which were much more expensive, they were either full of snobs, or they were dumps, and they didn't have such a wide choice of apartments as Treemont. I highly recommend you STAY AWAY FROM A PLACE FOR MOM, as I'm still getting repeat calls from places that I've repeatedly told my mother-in-law is settled and happy. That location service seems to have a stranglehold on the market, and makes it hard to find such great places as this.

I have been sleeping on the floor for two months now with terrible arthritis because I don't have a bed. Medication, durable medical equipment, clothing, jewelry from my deceased mother, my computer, food, furniture, everything, in the trash and all because Maddie, the housekeeping manager, acted on her own and against company policy after being informed that we still had time and we were not finished moving. I cannot believe someone could be so cruel working at a place with such a vulnerable population. I am hurt beyond words. Neeli Smith, the director, is very sweet and she apologized for Maddie's actions and couldn't understand why she would do such a thing when the policy is clear and it was definitely violated. The company offered $1000 to replace my computer but nothing else and I refused their offer. When I refused their next offer of $3000, the asset manager asked how I was going to pay past due rent. I thought that was incredibly unprofessional and shows me that the safety of residents isn't their concern. I have tried to work this out but have been left with no other choice but contact an attorney. It's a sad situation. I am left to suffer over one employee's very bad decision and she goes on to work at the Emerson.

I assure you that this location looks & feels like an upscale hotel. You are greeted by friendly faces when you step in the door. The lobby is spacious and full of energy. The dining area is open, beautifully decorated, and clean. Even though I did not get to see the food, the menu offered healthy and alternative options. The community space had comfortable seating, by a bookcase and fireplace, very nice! The activities room was large and obviously used often. A resident said hello and expressed how much she enjoys living there (that was a huge plus!). As a resident, you get a 1 bedroom studio apartment. It's comforting to know that if skilled nursing is needed at some point, that service is available in the same building. I visited the rehab area and could see that the equipment was new, clean, the overall setup was impressive. What you really want to know is ... how much does it cost? Maybe nothing! Let Cory work with you and discover what you qualify for. In my case, I was thrilled to learn they accept Molina and Superior Star Plus waiver (Medicaid programs). You can certainly do private pay which is 3,000 a month. Either way, this includes the utilities, cable, wifi, housekeeping, daily activities, three meals a day plus 24\7 security. The staff taking care of your loved ones are all licensed CNA'S, CMA'S and LVN'S, who also manage the medications. In addition, there is a doctor who visits the communities.
