I've never actually been afraid to go to the dentist. Though it can be painful---I've had braces in my teens, but luckily no wisdom teeth extractions--I enjoy the feeling of having cleaned, buffed teeth that can only be gotten from a dentist's professional service.
We used to go to a dentist farther away from our home, but when my parents wanted to switch to someone who wouldn't surprise you with how expensive their work was, we stuck with one that was just a couple of minutes' walk from us: Dentista Namin.
The clinic is tiny. It's just a small reception area with a chair and couch for probably three people and right past the receptionist's desk and the partition is the one dentist's chair, so they can only ever accommodate one person at a time. I'm not even sure how the people here go to the bathroom, since I'm positive it doesn't have one.
Regardless, I enjoy going here since it's so near our house and the staff and the dentist, are always so nice, even when Dr. Menchie's telling me that she has to charge extra for getting rid of my excessive plaque or to remember to not be so heavy-handed on the brushing. read more
