    It appears that the owner of Sparks attempted to reply to my review by sending me (over a month…read morelater) reasons why they overcharged me. Unfortunately, he got my name wrong in his note (my name is not Jenny) and then he proceeded to state that they guys had to drill holes to fit the light fixture. THIS IS A LIE - I stood right there watching the whole time and no drill was used!! I made sure I purchased lights with backing that was the same diameter as the ones they replaced. Second, he said that caulk was used on, I guess the outside lights, this also was incorrect (!) I saw that guy replace the base and lights - no caulk was used. EVEN if they had to use a drill and caulk, the cost of $630 still does not substantiate the amount of work that was done.

    I had a simple exterior outlet that was not working. So I called for them to send someone to check…read moreit out. They sent two technicians for a simple one-man job. It turned out to be a bad breaker. It only took 30 minutes to troubleshoot and repair. They charged me $125.00 per technician so $250.00. They also charged me $70 for a service fee. I paid them. I called to discuss the charges for 2 technicians, plus the service fee. Whoever took my call said they always send two people on service calls, they did not tell me that before scheduling. I definitely could have found someone less than $250.00 per hour. She also said the service few was only charged just for a sight survey and when no actual work was done?? She said she wold have the owner call me to discuss and adjust the bill... I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THEM. I LEFT A MESSAGE AGAIN AND NEVER HEARD BACK!!!!!

    I would like to take the opportunity to share how unprofessional the owner and his son was. We were…read moreordered a light kit and needed to return it as it doesn't fit the fan. The owner began to belittle us and tell us we were wrong. He accused us of buying the fan at some second hand place. When I pulled the fan up online, he commented "oh, you bought it online". What does that have to do with anything? This is a $500 Bellacor fan! It got so heated I told him he was acting like an asshole. My husband told him he is acting like an ass and walked out but I don't back down that easy. His son turns around and snickered. Needless to say I tuned him up as well regarding his behavior. He responded "I'm not a kid". I told him I didn't call him a kid and he should know not to be disrespectful. But, as they say...the apple doesn't fall far from the tree! Never again will I step foot in that piss poor store!

    I went to their store on US1 the morning of March 9th because I needed to replace a fan in the…read morehouse I'm selling before I move on March 30th. After picking a fan the sales person called to make sure it was available for a quick delivery since I had a hard deadline for the installation. I called many times after the purchase to see when it would be installed. Almost every call went to voicemail. I always left messages and my calls were never returned. Finally I reached a person on March 22nd. I was informed their installer would be on vacation and it would have to be done when he returns. I explained that those dates would be too close to my move. She said she'd try to get it installed the next day at 4:00. She'd confirm and let me know. No one called me back. No one answered my calls until close to the time of the installation. I was told the fan had never been shipped. The factory was running about three days behind. Again, my order was placed on March 9th! Today is March 23rd! They cashed my check. I have no fan and no anticipated installation date before I move. I'm so disappointed and wish I had used any other store.
