I'm not well versed in cars so I don't know if I'm getting ripped off, the overall workings of the car doesn't interest me and I don't have time to research what I need. That said, when I hopped in my SUV to leave work on Daniels Island I get the dreaded "message" so I scroll through my trucks messages and my right turn signal needed replacing. I called AutoZone on the way home to see if they had the part. On the phone the clerk was extremely helpful in terms of "yes fixing it yourself is easy and yes we have the parts you need!" The phone conversation left me with a "sweet, I can zip in, have the part and zip out in 5 minutes!" Walking in must be a NASCAR fans toystore but for me I wasn't interested in walking around aimlessly admiring mufflers or fantasizing about installing a new fuel converter. One of the people came up to me and asked if they could help. I said I called earlier and they had my part right behind the counter, no browsing needed! They even briefly told me how to install it, but this wasn't my first rodeo. I'm not going to say I enjoyed my time there as I don't dig car stores, but it was clean, the people friendly and my time was brief. I couldn't have asked for a better pop in encounter. Also the prices were reasonable. The next time my vehicle needs parts I'm going to "get in the zone, Autozone" and I recommend you do the same if you have auto needs.

As part of my deciding which battery to buy, David explained my car required an electronic reset using specialized equipment not available from O'Reilly's. I have a mechanic friend, so I bought the battery. David retrieved the battery and placed it in the trunk of my car. I closed the lid. With my dead battery still installed my car wouldn't start. Neither of O'Reilly's battery chargers would start my car, and now my still installed battery is so dead my faub won't open the car trunk. My story is too long to continue. Just know that David made the extra efforts required to access my new battery from the car trunk and use it to jump start the car. Excellent O'Reilly battery and outstanding service provided by David I. Thank you!

I looked up spots on my route and had a short time before my next appointment. Napa was on the way so I took a short detour to get what I needed. They immediately told me what sizes I needed for my car and pointed me in the right direction. As I mulled over the different options for prices and claims of superiority, the clerk came over to offer some advice. He pointed out the sales they had and what reccomendations he had accordingly. I told him my past experience with some brands and let him know I wasn't happy with one of them and my classic car could use a boost in the wiper department as well. He mentioned he had a brand that he and all his coworkers use but it's a little pricier so folks generally steer away. I took the bait and told him to check for my sizes which they had in the back. He assured me they were worth the extra dough so I went for it. Turns out they were running a special that got you 20% off after spending a certain amount (buy a $3 Napa bucket for charity as well). The whole thing cost the same as the on sale blades and I got the Trico Force blades I was looking for. After a week long dry spell I got to really test these wipers out and he was absolutely right. I highly recommend these wipers and am probably a life long Trico customer. Great service with honest advice that held true... I'll be back for sure!
