I ended up in the middle of an argument between them, & my mechanic each blaming the other one for whose fault it was, with Van Horn's saying the mechanic ruined the engine/didn't put it in right, & the mechanic saying that the engine couldn't have failed if it was refurbed correctly. A replacement was done, but this time Van Horn insisted they do it themselves & bypass my mechanic. THAT engine didn't run correctly, so a 3rd was pulled from another car, refurbished, & then installed into my car by their mechs. They couldn't blame my mechanic after the 2nd engine which meant that they very closely took their time on the 3rd engine since they had already used that excuse. After 3-4 weeks I finally had a working vehicle. If they had just listened to my mechanic in the 1st place all of that could have been avoided.

I took my daughter's jeep to Ronnie's in October of 2025 to replace the radiator and thermostat…read more They completed the repairs in a day, which is rarely seen today. Nine months later the jeep began overheating when speeds over 60 were driven. Called them and they had me bring it in. Was afraid it was a head gasket or some other problem, but they again had it repaired within a day, told me no cost as the thermostat had locked open and was under warranty. In today's world I expected to be charged, and their honesty was greatly appreciated. Very competent employees and owner!

My wife and two kids were at the beach on vacation. she called and said her car was slow to start…read moreso I told her to find and oriellys since it was late Saturday afternoon to get a new batter. The clerk at the store told her it would damage the computer on her ford explorer if he changed it but offered her tools to change it herself. I told her that was a lie. She drove to the nearest advanced auto parts which is a couple of blocks from this store and they changed her battery in less than five minutes. Lazy lazy we will never do business with oriellys in the future. My only hope is that this review somehow makes it to corporate office so they can educate stores on customer service and how they would like their family treated in the future.

So I sent them my boat info with photos/video): 2004 Sea Boss 190CC Hull, 2018 Hi-Tech Marine trailer, 2025 Tohatsu 90HP motor installed last year with 25 hrs on it (maintenance performed). All new upholstery in 2025. They offer $2000 for my boat. Told the salesmen, "sale lost". Just off the insult. He tried calling and texting but he was blocked since most people wouldn't take kindly to being insulted. The engine was $12k (installed) last year. And the upholstery was $1250. They would've been better off just saying sorry we don't do trade-ins, then insult the customer. Would never recommend these people, at least for trade-ins.

It's my fault for not making sure I had all of my parts. That and some disparaging comments about my brand of motorcycle and an inaccurate statement that nobody there rides that brand. He said the parts were placed in a plastic bag for me, but I failed to get it. Firstly, one of the parts should have been reinstalled. Why wasn't it? And what happened to the bag of parts? Did they discard a customer's parts without trying to let them know they'd left them? That seems to be the owner's best explanation. My recommendation? Take your business elsewhere.
