Anyway, I explained to them several times that I was looking at trade in value and that I had a couple of offers from carmax and nerdwallet. The lady I spoke to said that they usually (key word) do better than them. I figured, what the heck, they are only an hour away, why not. Now, I was brutally honest about rating my truck, actual mileage, scratches, as well as the accessories. Well, they lowballed me by $3000.00 and made it sound like they were being very generous and magnanimous about the whole deal. I told him he was low and thanked him for his time. He was a bit taken aback about that. Asked me if I wanted his estimate, said I could keep it or even throw it in his face if I wanted to. Okay, I did kinda chuckle over that. Obviously, he has done this before with limited success. As I left, he tried to engage and explain his position, I just smiled and left. The lady I originally spoke to sent me a half-hearted apology email that made me chuckle, too. Update: I sold my truck to Driveway.com for $25,150. Blaise Alexander offered to go as high as $22,000 (after telling me it was only worth $21,000 and change). Even though I was only asking for trade-in value, I was prepared to take $24,000 when I went there. Lucky for me, they low balled me. I guess I owe them a thank you.

I had purchased a windshield wiper at Walmart two days ago and I found that it did not work even though the book on the counter at Walmart said that it would. I went to Mitchell's and they found the correct windshield wiper and even installed it for me with no charge other than the cost of the windshield wiper. I was in and out of the store in 10 minutes and the windshield wiper works great. I highly recommend going to Mitchell's for auto parts and service for your car. I also had another positive experience with them previously and that is why I chose to go there today. I know other people who have received good service at Mitchell's.

They got done with the check and told me my head gasket was blown. We called my hometown mechanic and he called bs on it, if my head gasket had been blown my car would've overheated, had a lot of smoke and coolant in the oil (which they said I had) I took it to another place to get a second opinion they told me there was nothing in my oil I just needed a new air filter. This place acts like people aren't going to get a second opinion, I'm 19 and go to Mansfield, I know I'm not the only one who got taken advantage of here. They said they were delayed because they had to go to Autozone to get an oil filter. Car finally got done. 135+ dollars for a synthetic oil change!!! Holy cow, what kind of oil are they using? 17 plus dollars a quart, I pay 87 dollars at home for an oil change. Not overly impressed.
