I get it, car salespeople are supposed to sport a wonderful personality and great customer service,…read morebut the friendly folks at Tri-State Ford exceeded my marks. My partner and I wanted a new car and this place (a good 86 miles from Downtown KC) was the only place that carried the specific kind of Jeep that we were looking for. We road tripped up there and test drove it and subsequently fell in love with it. Although we were already sold on the car, the guys in the office genuinely wanted us to understand what kind of undertaking we were getting ourselves into. It wasn't bad by any means, but they gave us honest credit counseling (at no charge!) to get this vehicle paid off as soon as possible. Now, I know when I'm getting BS-ed, and they certainly were not BS-ing us on anything about this purchase. I felt confident when we drove our newest addition off the lot and I would recommend anyone's next car purchase from these guys, even if it is a good hop-skip-and-a-jump from good ole KC. These guys know how to sell cars and be honest about it. Kudos.

There's a reason this is the second vehicle we bought from Tri State in the last several months…read more Towards the end of last year, we ordered one of the first Jeep Gladiators here and the buying experience was the best we'd ever had so when I was ready to buy my Challenger, I knew where I would find help. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, Charlie Basham and Tim White searched the country for what I was looking for and when they couldn't find it, they gave me some good advice - don't settle for what's available, order it exactly the way you want it. I've never been so glad to take someone else's advice. They kept me apprised of the status and Tim checked in regularly with me. The day I picked up the car, it seemed like everyone there, including the owner, came out to congratulate me. This is the way the buying process should always go.

He also explained to me what the options were to gettin it back on the road. Once I made my decision, without any pressure or any upsales, They ordered parts and got right to work on it. Taking the time to call me and explaining to me what stage they were in on the repairs. Was a very fair price, for an outstanding repair job. They are honest when given you an estimate and go into great detail so you are not hit with any surprises later.
