A quick stop just to gas up the rental car as we continued our drive through Northern Italy, this rest area is north of Genoa towards Milan (though we headed west to Torino soon). We did not hit up the rest area, just the petro station which also had a good selection of snacks and drinks and even mememtoes. Why are there "New York" ballcaps for sale here?
