I don't believe I caused any damage to their car. Also, I rented a 5 passenger for 4 luggage (see photo attached). They said that what I had reserved was smaller and wouldn't fit my family of 4 (w/ our luggage). I was forced to upgrade and pay extra -what a ripoff.

At that point I had no idea it was not an American company as the car company chosen was Budget Car Rental. The rates were great for an SUV for 7 days. Yesterday, 12/2/24 I was advised the trip had been cancelled. I went on the website to cancel only to discover there is no easy way to cancel. There is no cancel button, no email address, no chat box and no phone number. Finally, after clicking CANCEL and then looking some more, I was directed to a FORM. I completed the form - and then printed it off before sending - asking that the reservation be cancelled as I was within the 48 hour cancellation window. Today, 12/3/24 I received an email response advising that I could cancel IF I paid a 100 Euro fee. I called my credit card to report this scam as I have no intention of paying it. This company deliberately makes it difficult to cancel and because there is no way to contact anyone, I suppose they think people will just accept it and pay. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! THEY ARE NOT A TRUSTWORTHY OR GOOD COMPANY WITH WHICH TO DO BUSINESS.
