This place is way dated-it's got mold issues in the bathrooms and everything is in need of…read moreupdating. But the food wasn't bad and the gardens are very pretty. I found the people working here to be brusque- but maybe they're overworked. It seems like a hotel that's cutting corners. That said, the location on top of the hill is pretty nice. I hope they update the hotel- as it's obviously a nice location. They seem to take in a lot of large tour groups- so they're catering to a lower common denominator . I'm not a fan of Coimbra- I never want to go there again, but I don't hold that against the hotel.
