Before leaving Haro we needed to stock up on water, soda, wine, milk, some bread and jamon, chips,…read moredoggy snacks etc. This is the only Mercadona in town and we believed it to be small, since we walked in the entrance at Calle Donantes de Sangre. But we were in for a surprise. Once we walked down the stairs we found a pretty big branch of this great grocery store. If you park on the other side, you'll see it's obviously a big shop. Due to the size, it had everything we needed and then some. The usual good quality and fair prices. Friendly and helpful staff as well. Loaded up our car for little money. Left very happy as usual.
