English/Spanish Review They saved us from melting!…read more My family and I came on vacation to San Jose Del Cabo. A few days in my F150s a/c stopped working. I Found Refrigeración de Occidente, Lomas del sol -Avenida Leona vicario, islas del caribe, online in Cabo San Lucas and thought I'll give them a try. We had no appointment. Its a Shop building on a dirt road, clean and near a main road. I was a little skeptical but the owners daughter, Mrs. Montelongo made us feel very comfortable and confident in their abilities and that it could be done for a good price and in a reasonable amount of time. We are a family of four, with not much for us to do around she asked if we would like to be taken to the mall. They drove us to downtown Cabo to pass time and we put our full confidence in them. Although the problem was a little more extensive and time consuming than i had estimated they kept us informed and made sure we would not be stranded. The technician and shop manager offered to stay after closing in order to finish the job. When done they delivered our vehicle to us, ice cold a/c, happy and proud of their work. We are truly grateful to the team at Refrigeración de Occidente, and wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who needs assistance with a/c services. Very reasonable and they know their trade! We are very greatful! ~ The Quintero Family, Queen Creek, Az. No teníamos ninguna cita.

Filled up the vehicle with coolant, however, within in a few hours it was blowing warm again. I took the vehicle back to Jesse (the owner) the next morning. He determined it was the compressor (my original thought). He (his guys) replaced the compressor with a rebuilt unit. Vehicle was ready the next day at noon and is blowing cold cold air. Very fair price. Jesse; Many Many Thanks. I'll be back in CSL for the holiday's with my family, and would have been in a heap of trouble with the A/C blowing warm air. Great Job.

My family and I really wanted to drive UTVs while vacationing in San Jose del Cabo. We booked a two…read morehour UTV tour with Amigos for four people. I can't say enough great things about our experience. Transportation was included, so we were picked up and dropped off at our resort. Our tour guide, Armando, took us through a beautiful route. We drove the UTVs on the sand and dirt. The two hour tour included a 20 minute stop at Migrino Beach. It was gorgeous and not crowded at all. Aside from the fishermen, it was just people stopping by while on ATV, UTV or camel tours. The best part was that they were pretty lenient and let us go fast. We had a ton of fun throwing the UTVs around. I've been on UTV tours before with very other companies and they weren't as fun because we had to go so slow. Thanks for the great experience!! Don't forget to tip your tour guides and drivers if you come. A standard tip is around $25 USD per vehicle, so come prepared with cash. Also, they charge a 10% sales tax on all purchases made with a credit card so I recommend paying cash to avoid the fee.

Tl;dr At best mid tour but not worth it for the dishonest business…read more I booked through cabosanlucastours.net (separate story about them) but included pictures to show that we did indeed get farmed out to Amigos Activities. They weren't ready to pick us at the location during the pickup time. We had to call before they even sent someone to pick us up. Ride itself was about 20-25 mins. The tour itself was ok at best. Was able to go through the dessert and to Migrino Beach. For the tour itself, would give it a solid 4 stars. Our guide was pretty cold, had an attitude issue from the start. Ride was also super dusty. Highly recommend bringing your own bandana instead of paying the atrocious $5 each. There are plenty of options on Amazon for less. As some people mentioned, their equipment is a little worn. Fortunately we had no issues. They put all their newest UTVs out front to display with their logos. Don't be fooled by those shiny pictures with their new vehicles. Those are not the ones you will get. The main issue is their shady way of charging you extra. Honestly I have no issue with paying them how much they charged, the issue is the lack of transparency and the shadiness of how they did it. 1. The "Park" Fee. Yes they did list it so I knew going into it that we would be paying an extra $25. However, like many have said it's really not a park. It is just some guy with a really janky gate preventing people from going in. 2. Insurance. I paid the $25 per vehicle because people online advised that they will find any way to charge you despite the vehicles being broken down. Again, I went in eyes wide open and knew what I was doing 3. Exchange rate. Instead of charging you the actual $25 they call out, they establish their own exchange rate that they will charge you. They take the USD, multiple by their atrocious exchange rate to pesos, and then charge you a transaction fee as well. After their fees, I paid an additional 17%.

While one person in my party was changing the tire to the spare, I called Cactus Rent A Car and asked what to do. One of their suggestions was to go to the Bridgestone Service Center and have the tire repaired. After examining the tire, BSC determined the tire irreparable and we had to buy a new tire for US$314. We asked if there was a discount with Cactus Rent A Car, alas, there was not. After handing over the credit card, we were done in record time of 15 minutes (or less). In the heat of the day, I appreciated BSC's speed and efficiency.
