"Never get a smog check where they also do repairs" uh oh Since I only had 45 min before the DMV appointment and they are across from AAA we decided to take a chance. Ww passed the smog test so no problem. If your car fails the smog test you can get money from the CA Dept of Consumer Affairs for smog related repairs if your household income is less than 80k.

Rihki is very skilled, experienced and honest. I got a new coolant tank and a smog test with him. I will come back for my car services.

Had to pay in advance, but I am okay with that. Get a message from the store telling me the day before the appt that my tires will not be arriving until sometime in the afternoon (my appt was a 12:30pm). It would have been nice if the message had indicated that I should reschedule the appt online--but I figure that out on my own, and I am okay with that. I come in for my 12:30 appt at 12:20 and join a waiting list. Finally at 1:00 I get called up to officially check in (not so happy about the wait since I had an appt). Then I am told that the tire sensors that I ordered don't work on my make of car (Tesla). WTF!! My order included the make of my car! The website should not have allowed me to order the sensors!! Not mad at the check-in guy, but pretty pissed off at whoever the numbskull is who designed their website. If you want tire sensors you want them installed with the tires unless you have too much money and time. So I cancel the order at the store and go home. 1 1/2 hours wasted in my day. Thanks America's Tires! I am going to give them another chance once I get the sensors.

Since it was conveniently located near my workplace, I figured it would make things easier and save me some time. I brought my car in for a simple balance and rotation service--nothing major, just routine maintenance to keep everything running smoothly. It was a Friday evening, so I wasn't surprised to see that the garage was pretty crowded with cars. In the past, I've made the mistake of walking in without an appointment and ended up waiting for hours, so I've definitely learned my lesson. Scheduling ahead of time really makes a difference, especially going into the weekend when most people are trying to squeeze in last-minute car maintenance. The young gentleman who assisted me was friendly, professional, and welcoming from the start. He explained the process clearly and gave me an estimated wait time. Even though the shop was busy, the service only took about 45 minutes, which was actually faster than what they initially predicted. I appreciated that they managed their time well and stayed efficient despite how packed the garage was. Overall, I had a great experience. The convenience of the location, the courteous customer service, and the quicker-than-expected turnaround time made the visit smooth and stress-free. I really appreciated the service and will definitely consider coming back to this location again in the future.

He really took the time to explain my options and made the process easy to understand. During the visit, I realized my tires were still under warranty through Sam's Club. I ended up canceling my service at America's Tire, and they refunded me without any issues. What really stood out was Brian's attitude. There were no hard feelings at all. He told me his offer would still stand if I decided to come back and remained just as professional and pleasant throughout the entire interaction. After driving to Sam's Club, I found their prices slightly more affordable due to the warranty, but the difference wasn't significant. Ultimately, I decided to come back to America's Tire purely because of the outstanding customer service. Brian made such a positive impression that it outweighed the small price difference. I even had the option of going to Costco or Sam's Club, but I chose America's Tire because of how well I was treated. When I went back Brian was not available but Alejandro helped me out with the same level of professionalism. They replaced all four tires in less than 30 minutes, and the pricing was very comparable to Costco and Sam's Club. I literally came back because of the customer service alone. If you're looking for a new set of tires and value professionalism and great service, I highly recommend checking out America's Tire on El Camino Real in Palo Alto.

Invoices are attached highlighting the staff that helped as well as things I felt were important to highlight. Basically: the price-matching and the hassle-free warranty replacement (since damage was deemed irreparable). What isn't shown in the invoices is how attentive and considerate Mauricio (red shirt) was during my warranty replacement visit. Highlights: (1) he put my car in the system such that I would be immediately next in line as soon as the replacement tire came in, (2) spent considerable extra time with me to diagnose TPMS (tire pressure monitor) issues after the replacement, and; (3) made sure I had face-to-face contact with another red-shirt member (Sebastian) in case my TPMS issues were unresolved when Mauricio is not present. I did want to mention that it was extremely busy when I came in. It took me some time to actually get to talk to Mauricio specifically, but his professionalism was worth the wait. Lastly, I wanted to give a shout out to the technicians that actually serviced my vehicle on 10/29/25 and 01/19/26: those guys did fine by me. PS: Mauricio was right; driving a few miles fixed my TPMS issue. PPS: With the amount of construction in Millbrae and Burlingame, I'll probably see these guys again--when I do I'll be confident I'll be taken care of well.
