When a dealership is operated by the owner whose name is on the sign outside of the dealership , you can bet on integrity and a fair shake. From start to completion of process of buying a new car and trading in old one , doing all of the tag and tax business, count me in . So disappointed. Was going to buy a used Crosstrek. It looked good. Drove great. They said they did…read moretheir multipoint inspection, including changing the oil. Took the car home overnight and to my auto mechanic to check it out the next day. He put it on the lift. It was extremely rusted out underneath. Never saw so much rust. Would've been a nightmare if anything needed to be replaced or repaired under there. I took it back. Told the saleswoman. Someone knew this about the car because if they changed the oil and did their inspection like they said they did they would've seen the extent of the rust. Saleswoman wanted to show me another car. (She was very personable.) But now I don't trust them. And it looks like that car is still on the lot. Buyer beware and if you are looking at a used car there be SURE to have your mechanic check it out before you buy it. The warranty was 1,000 miles or 30 days, powertrain only, so I would've been up s***s creek and out all the money I have to buy a car.
