What I loved about visiting this church is that regardless of where you sit, you'll get a good view to see what's going on. As a first time visitor, I received a gift bag and coupon for a drink from the cafe. There are signs everywhere making it easy to navigate the building for new visitors. If you have a baby in tow, the nursery is behind the seating area to the left of the pulpit/stage. It's soundproof but provides full visibility and sound of the service to those sitting inside. A family member used the nursery and said it was very comfortable too. I'm looking forward to visiting Crossroads to fellowship again!

Pastor Jere Beulah who was officiating the funeral service even came by our families house the night of the wake and asked for stories about my big brother Chris. Funeral services were well put together and our family appreciated the extra care from him and the other church members at this horrible time. He even shared the story of how he saved the life of our younger brother by running into a house inflamed at 14 yrs old past the firemen and grabbed our little brother. He was truly the best man I ever knew and a true hero. Thanks to this church for making my sis n law n my other 6 siblings feel as comfortable as possible . I'm glad he chose this as his church home

We are living through a time were love, respect, and a little bit of empathy goes a very long way…read more I simply called the number that was given to me by the 211 assistance hotline. A woman says hello and I asked her if I had reached the Richard Brown Memorial. She simply said "NOT TODAY!" and hung up on me. I called back to clear up any disrespect she may have heard from my side, but she did not answer. I left a voicemail saying why I was calling. to let me know if I had reached the wrong number, if that was the case. If this truly does represent your ministry then I would hate for anybody else going through a hard time to come across her.

I wasn't sure if I was a believer, but I loved the people and the community and so I would go with my father from time to time. I recently was back in Youngstown (I have been away 20 plus yrs) and decided to go to church with my father. I was instantly taken back... the church is still beautiful and there are still some "guards of the old congregation", and there are new people and friendly...and the spirit is still the same....everyone is welcome. No judgement. The congregation has dwindled of course, but the new pastor is from Texas (where I currently live) and I found his sermon not only insightful but humorous and sobering at the same time. He came across as vibrant and caring, a good fit for the congregation. Do not let the small congregation put you off.... if you are a student, or neighbor or just in the area looking for fellowship and prayer, this is a wonderful welcoming scrappy little church with big heart! and again....they welcome folks from all walks of life....and you really should go and give a listen to the new pastor!
