Her magic is in her kind, warm, bubbly personality...it makes you feel like you can truly be yourself, which can be tricky when someone is staring at you with a camera. Carrie truly loves what she does when she's behind the camera, so it makes the time you spend with her fun. Her energy and warmth are infectious! Carrie captured the most precious moments for my husband and I for our engagement photos, she also took our wedding photos at the Seattle courthouse last spring which turned out beautifully, and this fall she will be taking our wedding reception photos in my home town, and I can't wait. My husband and I have done the whole engagement-wedding thing in a very non-traditional way, so hiring Carrie was the perfect choice because she won't give you cookie cutter pictures. Carrie is imaginative, playful, and spirited...her images reflect her creative flair. Our pictures were romantic yet very personal, she captured the best moments! I think it's safe to say, we love Carrie! And all of our most special moments have a theme that is unique to Carrie's eye.

She is bar none the best photographer we've worked with! We've now had several sessions with her, and I can't truly express in words how much we appreciate the work she's done in capturing these events/moments for us. For example, we booked a newborn session with her, however after giving birth to my son and having a difficult postpartum experience, I was not exactly in a place where I felt awesome about myself, and definitely did not feel up to being in front of a camera! I really only wanted pictures of our newborn son and some with my husband and son. She gently convinced me otherwise, and I have to say I'm so SO happy she did. I was amazed that although I didn't feel particularly stunning or camera ready, she captured beautifully simple and authentic interactions between a mother and her newborn son. It didn't matter how I looked/felt, the pictures turned out beautifully and those happen to be my most treasured of us. She is a mother of two herself, so she was so very patient with working with our little one! She takes pride in her work, and it shows in the final product. You will be elated!

Even though we live far apart, we always seem to make it work when it comes to taking pictures. I never have any stress or anxiety thinking about our session with Kelly, and we are very excited to work with her every single time. The pictures always, always come out perfect, and they are memories that we are will treasure forever. Her style is so light and airy, and her ability to capture candid photos is just perfection; those always turn out to be the best shots! She is always able to keep a smile on our kids faces during their sessions, and they always enjoy seeing her because it's always such a fun time for them. We also have tons of beautiful, professional prints from all of our sessions that make for beautiful artwork in our home; That is one of the things that I love about her new life collection! The newest addition to our collection is a beautiful photo book that contains pictures from each session of the new life collection with our second son. It came beautifully boxed and tied with a ribbon, and the book itself has a fabric cover, and the pages are super thick and sturdy. It is definitely made to stand the test of time. It's probably our favorite piece of artwork from Kelly that we've gotten so far, And I can't wait to pass it down to my children one day. Thank you Kelly for all of the wonderful memories!

**SCAMMER ALERT**…read more Until last few weeks she was in hospital sick confirming she will give my money back for the service she couldn't provide because of her sickness and now all of a sudden she says that goes towards a retainer fee. Everything was a lie from the beginning and I fell for it! I paid her upfront without even confirming dates because I was so excited as this was my first time working with a professional photographer. The conversation on when and how the photo session was going to take place was never clear but I still chose to trust. In my case, photographer constantly stated she was sick and couldn't do the session on original set date. She even texted around 2:00am on the week of photo session to notify how sick she was and it is better to reschedule. So in order to avoid risk to a newborn, i had to say we will do next time and waited for this woman to recover and set different dates. However, I never got updated date and time or any other information. Then I asked for a refund, which she ignored at first but later after warning on fraud claim, she stated refund will be issued once she got better with sickness. Refund was never issued and upon several texts and weeks of trying to follow up and get refunded, she today responded saying money went towards retainer fee! My money is being taken as a retainer fee for photographer's personal reasons and now benefit as such fees in my case is not applicable at all. What can I say as i never thought i will get scammed like this. My hard earned money was robbed! All I can do is leave this review and hope that nobody else will be scammed like me. Save your precious moments and money for someone trustworthy even if you've to pay little extra. Please don't trust the prior positive reviews. They might be true back then but not current. AVOID!

She worked really well with our little boy, and it was clear that she was familiar with working with babies. We went through a variety of poses, all while keeping our normally finicky baby entertained - he never had a chance to get antsy because we were putting him in a variety of creative poses and holds. The turnaround for the photos was incredibly fast, and we were so excited to see the finished product. The photos looked great, and I love that we have digital files so we can print them in a variety of formats. We are looking forward to working with Alexandra again in the future!
