My friend went first for the chakra balancing and was fed bullshit the entire time. We both frequent a place in Portage that does ACTUAL chakra balancing, using Reiki, and is completely legit. This place was 100% different. My friend went back for the balancing and the woman just held her hand, flicked some cards, and told her all of her chakras were black and white. She then goes on to tell my friend that she could sell her a cleansing kit for $300. Isn't a chakra balancing supposed to be where you get your unbalanced chakras cleansed and balanced????? After the "balancing" was over, the woman said that her credit card machine wasn't working and that the balancing would cost $75. My friend was not back there for more than 20 minutes, and the cost of the bullshit reading was $75???? Holy balls. We knew in that moment that we were in the process of getting scammed. We didn't have $75 on us because normal, real chakra balancings are between $20-30. We had to leave and go get money for her, and bring it back, which we shouldn't have done. People like this are the reason why the spiritual community is marginalized and not taken seriously. It's hard for real reiki practitioners and real mediums and channelers to be able to come out publicly about their beliefs and practices. She pulled every stereotype in the book - she didn't clear the space beforehand or between the readings, she didn't name any chakras, she was touching a crystal ball the whole time -- it was a show. Since it was so expensive, I did not end up getting a tarot reading. Though, if I had, there's no way I would have been able to sit through the whole thing without calling her out. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a spiritual advisor. (UPDATE: do not take the good reviews on here seriously! I believe the owner has been making multiple accounts to review her own business and give it 5 stars!!! Do not waste your money here)

The thing that gets me is how when I visit psychics there is always supposedly some curse or spell that has been cast that will require several sessions that cost a ridiculous any amount of money. I know they have to make a living in all but this makes me very skeptical of ever returning. I probably just need to pray and go back to church and ask God for the answers. What seemed to completely change this whole, peaceful reading, was when she told me about the spirits in my home (I already felt them; I have some ability), that most of them were evil; that something terrible happened in my basement (I already sensed that), that they had caused the death of my dog!
