My husband and I had quite a few questions regarding the contract. When we asked our questions, Mike started to sound aggravated. He actually had frustration in his voice. He wanted to keep half the earnest money the buyer would put down to secure the contract. That did not sit well with us. He stated this was to be used for any additional costs, such as advertising, etc. that he would have to spend if the deal fell through. He also sent us the contract for a dual agent, which we did not want. We wanted to have an exclusive agent working for us. His commission charge was extremly high, which he would not negotiate. We stated we needed to discuss this further and would call him back. Within a few minutes, Mike called my husband back to state he felt this relationship was not going to work out and he then hung up on my husband!! What kind of realtor hangs up on a potential client? There seems to be a pattern with the real estate agents in this area regarding people of color…read more This is the second real estate agency that I've contacted only to be completely ignored when requesting a tour of a house. However, when a (lighter) friend of mine requested to see the same house, they received a response within five minutes. After disclosing to them that the other person inquiring about the house was connected to me, I received a very unprofessional text back stating that it was "BS" About him, wanting to see the house. I would not recommend this real estate agency or agent (Jason Hale) to any new home buyers or people of color.
