Overall it's a pretty popular venue for Florentines, very casual, there's a coat room (av. 2 € per piece), a cocktail bar offering regular beers and a few different cocktails (nothing too fancy) and a few sandwiches for late night cravings. Acoustic has always been a red mark and it has not improved in time, but concerts are still fun and not a bit pretentious. Be aware that parking around this area is almost forbidden unless you come early and lines for tickets are up to 45 min. outside (cold or hot weather doesn't matter).

The place had tight security and smelled of new construction, but I was told all of that was for the private event. But its still under construction, because the original vision was to make it an arts complex with 3 stages. I was seated in the main opera house which seats 1800. The sound was excellent inside the venue. I could see this place becoming 5 stars, once the complex is finished being built.

The first time I popped by, I knew this would be "her" place. With both cozy indoor seating and a welcoming outdoor courtyard, there are plenty of tables for all. The cappuccini are delicious and affordable so there are many students here. We love the staff, too, who are patient while we try to get better at speaking in Italian. This location is great for many reasons. They are open when most of the other restaurants are on siesta. They generally have free entertainment on the stage at night. They have a happy hour with a complementary tapas type of snacks to accompany your drink. Did I mention the cool courtyard atmosphere? So this place attracts the urban student or young professional. The food is very adequate and I would rate that 3.5 but the other amenities bring it to 4 for me. I ate here at least 10 times in the three weeks I was in Firenza. I hope this review helps.
