We had our 2009 Audi A4 serviced there for it's 75,000 mile service this week. Once again, Danbury Audi exceeds expectations for service experience. John Hanson goes out of his way to make sure things are taken care of the first time. He notifies you as soon as he finds something out. This way, you're not waiting around your phone all day to see when/if you're car will be ready. John is personable and will always greet you even if you're not there for service. I've owned Acura, Infiniti, Lexus and Mercedes-Benz and Audi has been the most repeat purchase brand for us....and Danbury Audi is a main reason why. :-) read more

Awful experience. As a repeat customer, I expected better and more cooperative treatment. Was I wrong. The sales process should be more transparent with information available online. Got a significantly better price walking in cold to another dealer. Save your time. Skip audi in Danbury when looking for your next car. Response from dealer is empty. Lots of talk, no definitive action. Stand by my review with email proof of how poorly the dealership performed and treated a return customer. read more

I was really impressed with their service and selection, they made me feel like their #1 customer, that is until I actually bought my Audi. Then the level of help and concern definitely dropped off. They should be more attentive with their actual paying customers. We'll see how future service appointments go...but for now they are only worthy of 3 stars. Took my q5 in for scheduled service, as always it was a great experience. Apparently there was a miscommunication about the date for my service appointment and I showed up a day early - no problem, Danbury Audi fit me in anyway! I was certainly appreciative as I drive approx 30 mins to get to this dealer. I love the waiting area, coffee and granola bars! We own 3 Audi's currently and I just purchased a 2019 S5 from Danbury Audi. It was a good buying experience however I think their service department is lacking in customer service and follow through. I recently ordered tires through Audi and set up an appointment and loaner for which I received an email confirmation from Danbury Audi. When I showed up for the service I was told they had no record of the appointment and no loaner cars. They offered to take the car but said it would need to stay overnight which I could not do as we were leaving town the next day (I didn't want to drive on the tires which is why I was having them replaced). The service manager never offered an apology and just said he didn't know what happened....it would have been nice if they at least owned up to the mistake. I honestly don't think they care and the experience has made me really miss the folks at RIDGEFIELD BMW. read more

Worst car buying experience ever!! Liars, liars liars. They cheated me bad. They advertised a 09 Q5 as a CPO vehicle, which Audi claims is the highest quality representation of a used car. This car arrived and was a total mess. They couldnt even clean the crud out of the seats from the kids of the previous owner. There wasnt a panel on the entire exterior of the vehicle that didnt have major scratches, gashes or damage. The car came with a clean CarFax, what a bunch of BS!! This means nothing if the accidents, yes multiple repairs, are not reported. What individual would report damge if they knew it would affect the value of their trade-in. Even worse is the repair to the accidental damge was done so poorly. The bondo is cracking, there are still big dents, door seals were glued onto the door and the door rattles when closed and when musc plays. This is the worst representation of a clean CPO vehicle anyone has ever seen. I begged them to work with me to resolve and they ignored me. They got all their executives on a conference call but never did any follow up to make things right. When I told them the car never should have been certified they got all defensive and ended the call. The quote for repairs on my new CPO used vehicle is almost $7,000!! I will never get any reasonable value when I try to resell becuase of the severe damage. Never ever ever trust this dealership!!!! read more

Thank you to all of the service providers who helped me the day I decided to certify my leased car and purchase it. I was given a loaner car and received calls during the process. They finished certifying it earlier than expected and I was back in my car the same day. The beautiful new service area for drop off and pick up is amazing. Danbury Audi did a wonderful job of getting my car in for service, providing me with a loaner when I only asked for a shuttle, and then calling to let me know it was done and calling back the next day to check that all went well. I recently visited Danbury Audi for my 35K maintenance check. I scheduled it right at 8am in hope to get in and out, which is what exactly happened. The attendant got my car in the garage immediately, and I was in and out in about an hour. I was able to get work done at their cafe, which was a huge convenience. My Q5 is the worst car I have ever owned, and this is by far the worst dealership I have ever had to deal with in the luxury car market. My delivery was a disaster... They basically threw the keys at me, emailed me eight videos from YouTube, and told me to have a nice life. Since then, I have had nothing but technology problems and glitches occurring with this car. Every time I have contacted them, they are rude and condescending. This time, when I picked my car up at the dealership after a repair (no loaner offered, BTW), they actually created more problems for me than they solved, and then acted put-out when I asked them to fix what they messed up . When you spend this kind of money on a vehicle, at the very least, you should be able to expect to be treated with deference and respect . You won't get that here, not in their sales department, not in their service department... even the receptionist is rude! Spend your hard-earned money elsewhere. read more

Went there looking for a pre-owned A6. I was very uncomfortable with the sales representation. Almost felt like I was wasting there time.

Was sold a lemon, but didn't know it until recently. Had bought an S5 Convertible Certified, with original warranty and with certified guarantee. Then a few months back, I was rear-ended by a small truck, so they had to repair the bumper. Turns out that bumper has a bunch of sensors for functionality which I didn't know the car had, which started working after the repair! Also, the adaptive cruise control never worked right before this repair. Service Guy told me the sensors which prevented all these features from working are a sure sign that the car had been in an accident before I bought it. There I was, driving with an S5 Prestige Convertible with a half dozen features not working because the car had been in an accident. CERTIFIED by AUDI! I've had euqally unsatisfying experiences getting several of my Audis serviced in the Greenwich area, I'm done with them. read more

I have been a long time customer. Purchased a S5 and a recent A7 Diesel within 7 years with regular servicing. At the last 110,00 mile service, the car had coolant light on. Upon returning home 15 minutes later, light popped up again. Since living 1 1/2 hours away from dealership, I had to return and dropped car back again for the same problem. Two days later, I have not heard from anyone...and they do not return call when requested. So as a loyal customer and spending over &150,000 along with thousands on maintenance, I don't even get a courtesy call! Is this what one should expect? Nice new facility but who cares if I lost 3 hours of my time traveling to deal with a problem which they should have addressed to begin with and certainly after spending $850 for a special maintenance!!!! Maybe a little decency and respect of customer's time? Is this what we can expect? I will look into other dealerships. Very, very disappointing!!!! read more

I'm on my second car from Danbury Audi. I live an hour away and drove past probably 3 or 4 other Audi dealerships in order to buy my car here. The sales staff are incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and no-pressure. The service department here is top notch as well. While great for small jobs and very convenient, the ethics in the Audi Danbury service department is horrendous. I had an Audi that I had been complaining about burning oil for months just prior to my warranty expiring. They could find no issue. At the next visit, after having to put in a quart after less than 1,000 miles since the last quart, I was told I needed a piston job that would cost $5200. They knew this was a problem and if I had been informed that they need to meticulously track and document oil consumption in order to try to get this covered, I would have done that rather than just calling. I spoke to Corporate Audi, who spoke to the service manager and it went around in circles and I am left holding the bag. If I could give them less than one star I would. I considered a lawyer, but the cost of that would add up quickly. My only option, which I will take when the car can't be pushed along with frequent oil, is to ruin my credit by stopping payment on the loan and letting them repossess it. Watch them, they are snakes. read more

I bought a 2011 Audi A3 diesel from Danbury Audi and in less that 3 years the air conditioning failed. After spending almost $400 on "diagnosis" two Audi dealers told me that it was due to a "defective part". When I was told it wouldn't be covered under the warranty and I'd have to pay $1400 to replace the "defective part", I asked to speak to the service manager and was told by the service consultant that I could not- he wouldn't speak to me. They were more than willing to speak to me when I was purchasing the car but when the car was defective- not so much. I drove the car all last summer without AC. I'll stick to BMW. read more

I've been bringing my TT here for the past few years. They are always professional and courteous. They look over the vehicle to ensure all safety related parts are safe. I recently brought the car in for regular service and they did upsell me to four tires and brake BUT they were right on with their description of what it was doing and believed it was not safe for me. Horrible Service!!! Very Rude Service Director. I wish I can give less than 1 star to this Service Center. I recently got my 2017 A4 20K service done here last week and the car was returned to me with an apparent 27 point inspection that everything is perfect and the car is in good condition, in just 2 days after the service when my wife was driving the car the Left rear Tire bursted open on highway and obviously had damaged the rear tire liner and other things. We had to tow the car to Nearest service center (Fairfield) and it turns out that all the tires were damaged and had never been informed to me about them at the service appointment. I had to call Danbury Office for an explanation and the Service Director Mr.David Belletsky was very rude and Disrespectful and did not even listen to my concerns, he was talking in a very aggressive tone .I am glad there were no casualties on the day of incident, I lost my trust in Danbury Audi now. They should have inspected the car well if, they have done any and should have notified me of the possible damages which would have avoided me $2500 now. I would not assume a brand new car with just 20k miles on it that all the tires would be defective. I have reported this poor service and rude behavior to Corporate but they keep throwing the ball back at Danbury center. This place is a joke!! Never going back again. read more

The Service Department has contacted me and scheduled a Takata airbag recall repair on three different occasions. The first two times, I was contact either a day or two before the scheduled appointment and told that the appointment had to be cancelled because they didn't receive the part. Last week I was contacted by the service department and again scheduled for the recall repair on Friday, June 15, 2018. Given my past experiences, I specifically asked and was told that the part was available. I also received a call on Thursday, June 14, 2018 confirming my appointment. I arrived at the Service Department and dropped the car off at 8:00 am on Friday, June 15, 2018. I got in my wife's car (she had followed me there because no loaner cars were available) and we were less than a few hundred yards away from the dealership when I received a call and told that the permanent repair could not be done. When I ask why that is so I am told some gibberish about the massive size of the recall and the difficulty getting the necessary parts. Frankly, the issue and solution is not that complicated! Call and schedule the service when you have the parts necessary to do the repair and stop scheduling repairs that you are not ready to perform! read more
