I ordered cassoulet toulousain in a hope of getting a creamy meaty and hearty meal, but every thing has turned wrong with this dish, sausage has no taste, the duck leg was probably from a thousand years old duck that has manifested itself to rubber, chewy and tasteless. Beans were undercooked and floating around in the soup, with the duck. The only thing tasted as it supposed to be was salt, SO much of it, made you wonder if the owner preserves the unsold soup every night just by adding more and more salt every night. Anyhow, my piece of advise it to not waste your money here as to me this is sheer fraud and dishonesty to serve food like this and charge a whopping 20 euro for it. Try some other restaurants around, so many other better choices.

Driving down from Carcassonne, you turn to narrow straight road, lined perfectly with trees, that leads you to quiet town of Floure. Locals gather at the entrance to stare and greet, and just around the corner is a Chateau. Grounds are simply marvelous, old buildings, gardens, a lot to take in. Decent size rooms with AC (yes, it is unusual for this region - I am grateful for it in this hot summer!) Half-board is a good option to get if they still offer it, food here is very, very good. Dinner service, food itself, and wine, of course - all top notch. Local bread is delight. Strolling in the gardens or sitting by fireplace on colder nights after dinner, just enjoying the time here - a wonderful place to be. I WILL come back, Floure!

The lobby of the hotel is simply stunning, featuring lots of art and a chic modern look. Room was very comfortable: comfy bed, nice carpets, coffee maker, and luxurious shower. We ended up staying a second night because of how lovely it was. My wife is normally picky about her hotels but this one exceeded her stringent criteria. A great place to stay!

The character of the entire hotel is so much more enjoyable than impersonal "chains". Service was wonderful-supportive and helpful. And the hairdryer was so much better than most hotels! Breakfast is great. Light and fresh- a great way to start the day. I asked for and received a recommendation on where to go for a run. I was sent down to the canal, and it was an excellent suggestion. I recommend taking a few euro with on the run- just to stop at one the wonderfully smelling boulangeries on the way back to the hotel. All in all- definitely a great choice if your travels take you to Beziers. I will be telling my colleagues to stay here and no where else while in town.

Rooms work for three people. Toilet is separate from the shower. The furnishings and decor are modern and clean with a/c. Step out into a historic village plaza filled with restaurants and outdoor tables. Reasonably priced compared to Carcassonne which is 20 minutes away and much busier. The room was very quiet, clean, and had a comfortable bed.
