Wonderful restaurant/pub nearby. Room locks need to be upgraded. Plus safety chain. The curtains on the window closed better than the last 2 motels where I stayed. Side curtains or wider curtains would improve the privacy. I would love to make this trip again when I have more time.

The room was very clean including things often overlooked like the remote. Small room good for one person. More than one person could feel a little crowded. Easy check-in. Property kept up and has a little nature area running alongside of it that's pretty. No breakfast but there is a Tim Hortons and a McDonald's nearby. I definitely stay here again. The only complaint I had was you can hear through the walls and the people next to me left there TV on really loud and went out for the evening. Luckily they went to bed early and so the TV was off. I could see it being a problem if you had somebody that stayed up late with the TV blaring.

I especially loved the wine glasses! You can sit by the lake, sit on your porch or in your room all with a great view! We enjoyed our dinner on our porch ! Martine the owner is amazing and works hard to make sure each guest is comfortable and their needs are being met! The history of this Inn / motel along with the furnishings at the Inn are wonderful! One huge feature is and a charger for electric cars!!! A place full of simple luxury! you will be be disappointed!

The ferry to the new national park will open later this month and be within wdlking/biking distance . The owners and their daughters of this family operated inn are delightful and very helpful . English is spoken as easily as French . We got there from Houlton Maine in about 3 hours. Lake is great for swimming and paddling.
