I love this little place on the Seine river outside of Rouen about 15 minutes. It was intimate and kitschy. But we loved it. It's a creperie. As an American I am only used to seeing it for breakfast with sweet toppings. We had it for lunch. It was so big it filled the plate. There was melted French cheese with slices on thin cut ham on it topped with a perfect sunny side up egg. It was totally delicious. I also had a nice cold pitcher of local cidre (Cider with alcohol and slightly bubbly) with it. It was the best ever. You can't come to Normandy and not try foods or sauses or beverages made with apples. Out the window was the Seine River with a border of roses all along the road. Absolutely recommended. We stopped for lunch and a really nice young man was our server. We found out he is a local high school student with a part time job there. I had the ice cream for desert. read more
