Summary: Really tasty British-fare food, great indoor and outdoor spaces, and really excellent service, right in the bustling downtown area.
We arrived with a group of 9 (4 adults, 5 kids under age 7) and were immediately seated in a large outdoor area, presented menus and glasses, and kids menus with crayons. They didn't even bat an eye at accomodating our larger group. Enter massive downpour. Before we could even be fully seated, the clouds unleashed a massive downpour that immediately begun soaking the tables that were located under the seams of the touching umbrellas. The server immediately offered to accomodate us inside the restaurant, and we were immediately re-seated in a very nice sized, private section between the entrance and the main restaurant. It was absolutely perfect! We each found a suitable dish to order, and they all came out great! My only suggestion would be to order any beef steak products rare if you like it Medium or less, because I ordered Medium Rare, and it was probably more like Medium Well. It was still very tasty, and I didn't mind.
The kids were all well accomodated, and our noise level was not disruptive to the restaurant, due to a very well placed set of tables and a smart server who sent us there. We would definitely return for a future visit to Poitiers! read more
