About 3 years ago, I was in a terrible car accident with a broken leg that left me laid up for longer than expected. I was so focused on trying to recover that I didn't really put much time into choosing an attorney. Big mistake. A good attorney makes all the difference. Unlike my other attorney, Evan was on it from the first phone call to the last meeting. He treated me with respect and I always felt like I was his most important client. I'm now pretty much fully recovered and very happy with the results.

He didn't seem to listen well, speaking as if he hadn't hear things that were said. He spoke a bit callously, arguing there are 340 million people in the country and they don't just look at things for them. He said of 100 calls they get only 1 is looked at. I indicated that I thought that was a specious statement about 340 million people, that many don't call, but that it was fine that they might not have an interest in a case. Instead of any reasonable response to saying 340 million don't call, he said "they do", and then said 15 to 20 a day call. A bit frustrated, I said but 15 to 20 isn't 340 million. The other issue was that he continuously interrupted to say things that might or might not be relevant. I finally asked him, if interruption could be avoided, it'd help. A moment later he interrupted again. I said it was clear there wouldn't be a match, and 'thank you for calling back'. He hung up without the courtesy of any word.

I was looking for someone aggressive, and who could act in a ruthless manner if needed. When I met with Bill, and I found him to be smart, experienced, and very strategic. He didn't mince his words and displayed a lot of integrity. We spent a lot of time reviewing my options, and carefully considering how they could each play out. I appreciated this immensely, and it helped build my trust in our relationship. When it came time to act, he helped save me some money by using his associate, Keith Denny, instead of him. I appreciated this also. Bill was able to guide Keith, so I got the best of both talents. All in all the firm was very professional, and the work produced was very high quality.
