It's now July and I have yet to receive a single child support payment. The RI child support office continues to tell me that they can't enforce it the order with missing paperwork. I continually make phone calls and send emails that go unanswered. Essentially I have a court order that can't be enforced and my hands are tied until I can get a response from the office. I WOULD NOT recommend hiring this office to help with child support issues. Lack of communication and follow through has put me significantly in debt and at a standstill. Increasingly frustrating!

The Bar told me I'd get 30 minutes of free consultation. He gave me about 20 seconds which amounted to a suggestion that I go read a tenants' rights handbook. "I'm not gonna tell you anything different after our little consultation." Then he hung up on me. So, yeah. This is one of those c-level lawyers who thinks he's much more important than he is. He seems to be taking his frustrations out on the more vulnerable people who seek his services.

David did keep some for the work that he I don't know what that was because it has been over three months without being filed my entire process from when I paid my lawyer to I was filed and discharged took this long. We have since found another lawyer thanks to my sister who of course is a little bit more expensive than David but you do get what you pay for. Communication was lax at best. It was very hard to get him to return a phone call. it took over a week on average to get a response by phone call or text. My fiancé's new lawyer said that he gets three customers a month from David Hathaway. same issues bad communication and no progress. Do not use this lawyer.
