Atlas Hauling Service is the absolute BEST! Call them right now! Omg! They saved me today! Our teenaged daughter got accepted to a major pre-professional ballet training school and as a result we're moving to the city to be with her. We've been in the process of moving out of our old place in Mountain View for the last month while letting our lease run its course, but we need to be out-out in 2 days. We found takers for a ton of our furniture, but we had a large living room ottoman, a huge cube organizer, two tall lamps, and 3 massive rugs that we couldn't find new homes for and as the clock is ticking, we just needed them out. I called Atlas and *literally within ten minutes* Michael arrived at my apartment and gave me a quote that was more affordable than other local businesses. Bonus is that this business is family-owned! He hauled everything away immediately and was so kind! Thank you, Michael! You really helped me out! Everyone, do NOT call faceless corporations that will gouge you with crazy inflated prices like 1-800-GOT-JUNK. If you're remotely in the Mountain View area, call Michael. Done and done. I've literally never had a job done so fast in my life and I paid 1/3 of what I was expecting. There aren't enough stars! So grateful to you!! read more

Michael did a fantastic job: was very responsive, came on time, gave a reasonable quote and removed a bunch of junk that we had after the remodeling project and swept the the backyard. Will certainly reach out to him again. Best of luck, Michael! read more

Michael responded very fast and gave me a fair rate for hauling away a bunch of junk. I really needed this stuff gone fast and he showed up about 3 hours after I called him on a Saturday. He takes credit cards which is very convenient as well. Overall I will definitely call again for any hauling/removal service needs. read more

We had a great experience with Atlas Hauling taking away a bunch of extra concrete left over from our exterior house remodel. Their prices were very reasonable. They came on time, were polite, and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. I recommend them! read more

Quick and friendly, responsive over text and priced fairly. Quote given through text, after supplying a picture. Clean quiet equipment.

Called Michael today and he was able to stop by and give me a quote. The price was more than fair and he took my stuff away on the spot. Great customer service and fair pricing. If you're looking for a hauling service give Atlas Hauling Service a call. And one more thing, even though we were in the garage with the door up, as soon as he pulled into the driveway he put his mask on and was very respectful of COVID safety. Again, great customer service. read more

Michael called me back right away and was able to do same day service. He came OnTime and gave me a very fair estimate for service. Him and his helper removed all the junk that had piled up in my yard. They even swept up and made sure they got only the items I wanted removed. I will be using them again and highly recommend Atlas hauling. read more

Michael was awesome, very professional and courteous. He took mounds of dirt from a hole dug for a tree. He had to get it from between thorny rose bushes and he did a great job. He also responded to our request very quickly. Thank you Michael. read more

Michael and his crew did a fantastic job demolishing my custom wooden shed last weekend. First of all, I could tell right away from the first conversation that he would be easy to work with and honest. We spoke on a Friday afternoon and arranged for an early Saturday morning meeting the next day. He was right on time, friendly and was able to provide a very reasonable quote within 10 minutes. The process was easy and stress free. They worked non-stop and EXTREMELY hard for a few hours and left the yard looking immaculate. I can't say enough about his service and will recommend him any chance I get. Thank you Michael (and team)! read more

I was very much impressed with Michael. He was responsive and arrived at our house within an hour of contacting him. Michael is an absolute professional and a true gentleman. I cannot recommend him enough. He is by far the best contractor I have worked with. He has a can do attitude and can help rectify issues as they arise. He was also punctual on both days. We used Atlas to remove the front brick facade of our home without damaging the underlying stucco. He absolutely nailed it through care and consideration. I 100% recommend him and his team. read more

Responsive, Hard working & honest. I will definitely use again in the future when I need a hauling service

I had a great experience with Michael the owner of Atlas Hauling Service. He answered me right away and came within the hour. He's a kind man and ethical business owner. He observed appropriate social distancing and masking, and did two different trips for me. He was able yo junk so many things I really needed to get out of my storage unit to downsize. I would highly recommend his services. I don't usually make Yelp reviews, but believe others should feel comfortable and confident with choosing Atlas in the future. My impression is that Michael genuinely cares about providing excellent service and he held up to doing that. I will definitely will call again in the future. Thank you, Michael. It made my day! read more

Michael responded quickly. He is very professional. I really appreciate his service. I'll be contacting him when I clean out my garage!

Everything was quick, easy, and friendly with Michael. He and his employee were in-and-out with our 3 seat couch and disassembled twin bed with frame. Quick quote through Yelp and responded quickly. They even took their shoes off when entering my home - an extra, appreciated courtesy. Thanks for everything! read more

I called Michael as I had been spring cleaning placing junk outside, and the rain snuck up on me. He came same day and grabbed half a truck work of junk at a reasonable price. Great service and very friendly! read more

Michael was at our garage within 30 minutes of our phone call. He gave us a great price for our junk and did an wonderful job. Thanks Michael. read more

They did a very good job. Showed up early, worked hard, compacted our trash as much as possible (I think) to fill the truck. (They charge by the 1/4, 1/2 or full truckload.) I took away one star on this review because they were expensive. However, the way most of the hauling companies work, it is cumbersome and time-consuming to price-compare. They don't publish prices because it's really hard to know how much space your stuff is really going to take up. Ours, for example, ended up being a full-to-the-brim truckload. Who knew? It didn't look like it would be that much when it was spread out around the property. Atlas, like other junk haulers, comes out and does a free estimate onsite. When they got here, and I heard the general truckload price, I was a bit taken aback. But I just didn't think I had that much junk. I was thinking in terms of a half load price, which didn't seem so bad. If I could rewind and do this again, I would be thinking in terms of negotiating the full truck load price. Still, I should have said "no thanks" and let them drive away. Then I might have known if there was any wiggle room on the price. Maybe they would have said they'd do a full truckload for $550 instead of $675, or whatever. But I was overeager to get rid of my junk, which had been bothering me for too long, so I capitulated. And once the truck is loaded, of course, it's too late to negotiate. The other point on which I would fault Atlas Hauling is that they did not use adequate protective gear, which I would have expected for professionals in their line of work. Mike wore what looked like cloth gardening gloves. His helper -- who was very eager, strong, and a hard worker -- wore decent boots but no gloves at all. He said it was because of a nerve condition in his hands. Neither of them wore protective eye-wear. Maybe OSHA is okay with that, but as a customer, I was very nervous for them. I did not ask them about insurance, I just took that for granted. But I wonder if something had happened, if I would have been liable in any way. Next time, I'll check on insurance and insist on protective gear for the sake of their health and my own liability. read more

Honestly, I couldn't be more pleased with Michael and his timely and hard work. Extremely competent. My situation was clearing out a small retail store on short notice and Mike took my appointment, same day, got to work and impressively finished up all in a matter of hours. Our junk packed his truck. He was even kind enough to drop off a few items at our new location a mile away. I really couldn't ask for more and I'll definitely be using their services again whenever I'm in need. read more

Atlas hauling and the business owner, Michael are a Godsend. I hired Atlas after working with a larger company, 1800-Got-J$#$, and having a horrible experience with the professionalism, cleanliness and price of this company. Michael called 15 min. before arriving, came early and did the job with the utmost respect to my condo and myself. I ended up hiring him two more times. He even went above and beyond moving a bed and some boxes from Redwood City to Menlo Park! He even put my bed back together for me, and all on a teacher's budget. If I could give Atlas 6 stars I would! read more

Im 99% sure this is company helped my wife today. My wife went to drop off an old bed frame to the Santa Clara transfer station today. When she got there she didn't realize that a transfer station is different than a landfill drop off. She was about to leave when an employee or owner from Atlas asked her why she was leaving without dropping off the bed frame? She was with our four year old and didn't want him around the dust and misters inside the drop off area. The employee told her that he would take it in for her. My wife was very thankful, me too! Thanks for helping out. read more

I have used Atlas Hauling twice in the last 4 months and can't say enough good things about Michael! Michael is extremely professional and efficient, I wholeheartedly recommend his services. Michael was very thoughtful on how he loaded the truck which in turn saved me time and money by avoiding another day/pick-up. The cherry on top (of the great service) was Michael swept my garage of any debris that may have fallen. This was a nice touch as I can't even expect the maintenance folks at my apartment to pick up their trash when installing smoke detectors. You can tell Michael takes pride in his work and understands good service leads to repeat business! read more

I had a very positive experience working with Micheal. I called him at 5:00 PM on a Wednesday evening and he was at my house within 15 minutes. Amazing! He went out of his way to help me take out my garbage to the curb due to my inability to lift or push heavy weight for a few weeks. He is kind, professional, and very efficient. read more

Such an excellent service, and great experience with atlas hauling. Michael and his worker arrived promptly. They were both %100 personable, very friendly and professional. He is right on with his quote pricing, and all the stuff was removed in no time. Also I love that they sweep up after all the junk is gone. Highly recommend him, and I would call him again in future. read more

Atlas Hauling has been helping our family for years. They are professional, timely and curious. The prices are fair but more importantly the service is outstanding. This past weekend I sent a text message on Sunday and he responded right away for an early Monday morning pickup. read more

I spent weeks trying to find a company that would clean out and haul away my Grandma's stuff from her apartment. I found No One that would help. Only clean up company and a haul away company and a trash bin company. Everyone was separate and costly. Three days before our mandatory clean up, by some miracle, I found Atlas Hauling. Michael returned my call right away and gave me an estimate to remove and haul away at least a 50 yard bin full of stuff. He made arrangements to help me the next day and because we were not finished, came back the next day for another couple of hours and another haul away. Not only was he reasonable, he was professional, friendly, understanding, and very helpful. I trusted him with all of my grandma's personal belongings. He was on time, wasted no time, and used his time wisely. Not only did he haul away, but he helped take items from the apartment and dump in his truck. This was a big help since I hurt my back. He did not charge me extra! This is what he does. This man saved us. We would use him again and highly recommend him to others. read more

Decided to book Atlas Hauling Service based on the Yelp reviews. Best decision. Here is why: Michael called me within an hour about my removal needs. Was honest about pricing and informed me that is was based on truck load. Also mentioned they breakdown furniture to maximize space. Not many other places (that I know of) do that. Turned up on time with another crew member. Got to work and went above and beyond to help me remove mattresses and rubbish. Micheal is a true professional and helped me out twice within week. Two full truckloads. Stop looking. Call Michael and consider the job done! read more

Great price (stuck to it even though he underestimated how much junk I had!), got a same day quote and he was here the next day at a time convenient for ME! Arrived on time, got to work immediately and finished quickly! I will definitely use Atlas again!! read more

We had an outstanding experience today with Michael and his helper. I called a few weeks ago and asked for a bid for his services, he communicated his services and pricing accordingly. Fast forward three weeks, I called him yesterday, asked him if he was available to help us tomorrow. He was available and asked me what time he would like me to have him arrive. He arrived at the requested time. He was easy to reach and promptly replied to my text messages. He and his helper worked with me as I wanted to shift through my father's storage locker (I had no idea what was in the locker). The large locker 10 x 14 x 7 was full of an broad range of items, my father was a hoarder! Michael and his helper quickly moved through the items and helped me scan through what I wanted and set it aside. It was a pleasure to work with him. He and his helper were wearing masks and kept their distance. I highly recommend Atlas Hauling Service! read more

Michael's just fantastic. Does hauling and demo. highly recommended! Extremely good work ethics and great to deal with.

I contacted several hauling services and Michael was the fastest to respond, despite the fact the quotation request was sent at 8pm or so. He came out to give an accurate estimate, no hidden fees or anything like that. He was a friendly person to work with. While working our backyard to remove a pile of concret/bricks, my wife wanted to remove some other wooden debris (not much). Michael removed these for no extra charge, which we are thanksful for. Overall, a nice friendly guy, I would use his service again on our next project. read more

Very unprofessional! Don't show up at the time they give you (4 hours delay is unacceptable) and more over don't return calls once the appointment is fixed read more

I called Michael on a Sunday morning to get rid of an enormous pile of construction debris after a home remodeling project. He came in on a very, very short notice. Michael was polite, courteous and a nice guy to deal with. Michael came in exactly when he promised. He gave me a quote that I was satisfied with, and then did a terrific job taking all of the junk away. He even cleaned up afterwards and left the place free of dust. The guy worked hard, did a good job, and I have absolutely no complaints. Recommended! read more

Michael, was on time, communication via yelp, text an phone call was 5 star. He arrived on time an didn't just pull his truck in to start loading. He took the time to explain his business how it works an price. Additionally he spoke of what to look for in the event I chose not to use his service. His presentation, appearance an honesty is five stars. His work ethic is second to none. I make it a point to provide lunch for anyone, while providing services to me. Michael was very polite an declined as he wanted to work through lunch. This particular project required direction changes during the course of clean up. I was trying to balance loads based upon need to go, an scrap pick up, at later dater. Michael, was very open to all request. Michael, is a highly educated man, driven, fair an honest. read more
