Decent depending on what you like. Good sushi selection considering the price and it being all you can eat. Would have given it 3 stars but the 2 times I was there I didn't get ANY refills on my drink and had to wait a long time just to have the dirty plates taken care of. Sorry, as a customer, I'd like to be catered to a little bit. I Don't like to have to interrupt the dining room attendants having an hour long conversation in the corner to ask for more tea (I figured laying the empty glass near the edge of the table, might've been a clue). Best and cheapest great quality sushi in Douglasville. If you go at the right time and have enough common sense to choose food that hasn't been sitting for a bit; the quality is great. If your food tastes like it's been sitting out too long, politely ask the staff to refresh the buffet. Absolutely, positively, disgusting! Went there for the crab legs, me and my wife have never seen crab that looked like that. I think it was a mutation or the dead babies that float to shore. They were black on the inside! The other few items we tried weren't any better. No offense to the ethnicity of the people that worked there but they weren't who you would expect to be working at a Chinese buffet. Maybe that's part of the problem. Just 2 months since their Grand Opening Food and service has improved immensly. Sushi, Mongolian BBQ, The hot food buffet just keeps going. Prices are reasonable with a nice family atmosphere. A great new addition the the D'Ville area. This will go on my list of regulars. read more

If I was writing this after my first 3 visits I would have rated 5 stars. But they set the bar too high and have back down. Some of the "premium" buffet items that had me returning are no longer offered for lunch. And the price has gone up. I don't mind the 6.99 lunch price, but now Saturday is in a "special" price of $7.99. Since when is a higher price "special". Then they tried to argue it always was that price. If the price has increased, then admit it. Don't lie about it. Like I said, even at $7.99 and without premium items like real steak (French steak is a slab of gristle) and shrimp at the Hibachi grill, this is still a good place to eat for the money. This was my second trip to this restaurant. It's your basic Chinese/American buffet with a sushi bar. I didn't try the sushi, so I have no comment about that, although some of it didn't look very fresh. The place looks nice on the inside, but it doesn't live up to its promise. The food on the hot bar is only so-so. The service was very friendly ... at first. They stopped giving tea refills when they decided I was done. Overall, they could be a lot better. read more

The food was absolutely disgusting! I will never go back to this restaurant. The bread was like rubber, the chicken wings were not fully cooked, the fried rice didn't even taste like rice and numerous other items were old and stale. I complained about the freshness of the food and the clerk said the reason it was not fresh is because nobody has come to eat the food. Thus, they keep it out until it is all gone. I don't think she had a clue that this practice is not good business. How can you serve food that has been under the lights for 4 -6 hours? Amazing Place to eat. I don't care for Chinese food but the great thing is they have American food on the buffet, My husband loves the sushi and I love the spiral ham. Candi is on of our favorite waitress' so if you ever go ask for her, she is very talkative and very friendly. We have recommended this restaurant to a least 50 people and everyone of them love it. We have family get together here also, the staff and food is wonderful can't say enough positive things about this restaurant If in Douglasville,GA you have to try it. Went here last night, couldn't get home before I was sick. Spent $60 for a family of four! The waitress literally walked me to register to make sure she received her tip. She wouldn't give me my change I understand you're a waitress and work hard and I tip well but you never refilled are drinks or removed plates on table that's your only job as far as tending to the tables because it's a buffet. Needless to say she got a $10 tip and we all got food poisoning. read more

Best buffet I have been to in awhile. Loved the food! I would recommend working on stepping up the sushi bar and stepping up the desert bar though. It was kind of bland and there wasn't really anything on either that looked good. Other than that the rest of the food was great! read more

I came here with my aunt and husband for my birthday lunch and it was fantastic. I loved the options and the food was very good. My husband has a sensitive stomach and he even said everything was great and had no tummy problems. The lunch prices were very reasonable and we have talked about this place for days. Like any buffet, the food sits there, but I noticed that when someone would grab something, they re upped the food so it remained as fresh as possible. The sushi was under plastic wrap, and not labeled, but I know sushi enough to know what I was picking out. We have been eating at the Atlantic Buffet for 5 or 6 years and it has always been good. But today, Mother's Day 2017, it was beyond fabulous!! The food was outstanding, the employees were amazing and the service was great!!! Everything was absolutely delicious and when I had a question about whether or not there was gluten in an item the employees went out of their way to find out and came to my table to let me know. We are from Carrollton, Georgia, but it is well worth the drive!! Highly recommended!! read more

After all the advertising My wife and I were excited to try this new restaurant.....Four bites and ten minutes later my wife and I are $22.45 lighter in the billfold and headed home to get something we could eat. I was so disappointed that I advised the waiter that I could not eat the food. The food was not hot. The asparagus was raw. The honey mustard for the toss salad tasted like horesradish. Maybe it was just hot mustard but why would it be with all the salad dressings unlabled. He apologized and brought me the check which I paid nonetheless.. We love oriental food but his was the worst buffet I can remember. I was visiting Atlanta for 3 days and this restaurant is located across the street from the hotel. We went there for lunch on a Friday afternoon. The selection is huge with three different sections that span the width of the restaurant. I tried a little bit of many things. My faves were the honey shrimp ( in some type of light colored coating) and the varieties of sushi. I even had a few desserts like the cakes and pies and all were good. The restaurant is clean and the wait staff are efficient. Lunch was only around $8-$9 per person. read more

Easy parking; food is inexpensive; good choices - although desserts are less than good - always the same (never change choices) and can be stale. Several times the "tea delivery" had not come and they were out of tea........amazing. O verall good service and clean environment. read more

All right, so I went here when the place first opened and wasn't too impressed. Just got back from eating dinner there and let me say this, things have definitely changed for the better! They definitely renovated the inside a great deal, which makes a large different on how I interpreted the place! The food was awesome! Everything was fresh and they had such a large selection! Very disappointed in the customer service of this restaurant. Called in advance 2 weeks to make a reservation for a group of 25. Reservation was confirmed and I paid a deposit. The day of our reservation, it had snowed pretty badly, so called to check if we could move our reservation to the next day. Originally I had spoken with Dan (I believe that was his name, the Manager). Not sure who I spoke with then I called to change, but that person confirmed that it was okay and changed our reservation day. When our group arrived, I was told that there was no reservation. The staff told us that right now they were completely full and we wouldn't be seated. The manager then came and said, that as tables would open he would try to save them for us, but that would take a while. When I asked about the reservation, he stated that after I talked to the person, he tried to call me back (which is untrue, as I did not receive any calls from the restaurant). I asked did he leave a message. He said no, because he wanted to speak to me personally. I asked if he tried to call again, he said no. He was very rude and loud. Not once did he apologize for the inconvenience or attempt to make anything right. I explained to him that good customer service dictates that if you are attempting to contact a customer to tell them that you are not going to honor their reservation, you would at least leave a message (as proof you called) or continue to call until you reached them; instead of waiting for a group of 25 people to show up and then be rude to them. The manager stated that just because the number did not show up on my phone doesn't mean that he didn't try. He continued to argue with me. I was able to contact a nearby restaurant (Golden Corral) that would accommodate our group. We left, but I will be contacting the restaurant for them to refund my deposit. Never will we attempt to visit this establishment again, or refer to others. read more

Today was the second time I ate at this location (well today, I attempted to eat). The first time, I had no issue with the food, but was unhappy with the rude patrons who insisted on pushing their way to the food and not following any kind of order in moving through the buffet. So we tried to eat there today without the large crowd to hopefully enjoy the experience better. Unfortunately, this time the food from the hot buffet was cold or lukewarm. I informed one of the staff of the situation, who checked out all the food I told her I tried and she informed the cook staff of the cold areas. This was a very dangerous food safety issue because some the items included fish. Not to mention, this place is hot with no air conditioning... Since nothing was going to get replaced with newly cooked hot food while I was there (after waiting and observing a little), I decided to just get a salad since everything was cold anyways. Unfortunately, every plate I attempted to get in that section had food stuff on them, from wet rice to dried, unidentifiable things. That was it. Not going back again. We went here for the first time last night. We were very pleased with our dining experience. I see many reviews saying the quality has gone down and the price up. Maybe they have worked to overcome those things. The variety of food was exceptional, the quality was fresh and good, and the price seemed about right for the quantity and variety available--Chinese dishes, American favorites, sushi, raw oysters, Mongolian grill with good variety, extensive salad ingredients, variety of desserts and much more. Also our server was very pleasant and accommodating. My husband "pigged out" on the raw oysters; I thoroughly enjoyed the Mongolian grill and our 6 year old grandson found much to his liking. The mashed potatoes were instant, but that is one small oops in an otherwise wonderful dining experience. I guess comparing the quality with the cost it might be give 5 stars, but I would reserve 5 stars only for gourmet restaurant. read more
