A bunch of drugs that was causing blisters in my mouth so bad i could only drink liquids . Throat swelling the first neurologist told me don't eat foods or drink anything that aggravates it ! I go to RPM I'm desperate at this point what can I loose . They did some ultrasounds told me whatever I'm taking for inflammation it isn't working. Stop taking it . I also stopped taking pre gablin on my own because I was hating the side effects it was causing. I switched back to naproxen . I stopped cbd thc because it wasn't doing anything for pain and definitely wasn't helping with inflammation. The Otho ill pain clinic wouldn't renew my muscle relaxer since I was on one i. It was the same muscle relaxer I was on for decades it wasn't new . So with RPM my balance increased I was not relying on a cane all the time. And I had pain relief. No I wouldn't say I was even close to my old normal self prior to Covid. But I was able to pace myself to do some things I haven't done since June 2023 . It was a work in progress with multiple breaks. I need to contact them again.because January 23 2026 I was involved with a high speed vehicle impact . Things are popping up or not improving with the rice method. It sucks when I was making progress!

RPM took my situation seriously & got me in with a medical doctor who then prescribed a viable course of action which included physical therapy and chiropractic, & even cognitive theropy. I go to PT twice a week for stretching exercises, cognitive theropy for my brain trauma, then they spoil me with a massage & electrical stimulation to help me wind down after every session. Every time I walk out the door I feel like I've done something that was good for myself. Dr. Drake is great with his clients and is so friendly and makes the appt pass by quickly with fluid conversation. It feels almost like visiting with a friend once a month but at the end of the visit your back feels better. I've had to drag my kids along before and he's been understanding with that as well because sometimes life just happens. The desk staff are friendly and Efficient at what they do as well. One that doesn't ask what you're wanting treated, what pain you may have, focus areas, inn fact he doesn't say anything. I have then been left trying to repair the drops that harm my spine. I try to avoid this doctor but now have been tricked into seeing him if I do go to this location. I believe this location purposefully chooses not to disclose which doctor is working unless you walk through the door. They have also waited until I was nearly around the corner facing the doctor before saying "Dr. *****" is working. With skeletal issues that should be handled with care and compassion; I cannot afford to allow this clinic to further harm me. Update: The day this review was written there the app showed doctors at all surrounding The Joint Chiropractic. This location, although open, displayed no doctors name. I have searched their social media high and low for schedule only to get one ever few months. Since this post this clinic has since started showing their schedule.

Torn about how to rate this place. The care I receive is good--when I can get it in a timely…read moremanner. There needs to be a sick call hour. There needs to be a women's clinic. But more than anything else, there needs to be retention within the VA employment system. There are many good providers here at the Rockford Clinic--MANY. But the turn over is also vast and as a result of that, timely care doesn't happen. (For example--I had back to back illnesses from Thanksgiving and into mid-January. I couldn't get an appointment for the most recent one for nearly 2wks out. I'm keeping it even though I feel I'm mostly recovered, because if I relapse, it'll be another two weeks! This is stupid because I am aware I'm taking an appointment I may not need in fear I may need it and can't get it--so I have to wonder how frequent this occurs and if this same mindset is what kept me from getting in when I actually needed it? I digress, I went to Prompt Care @ OSF. It did the job, but sheesh!) I'm still confused as to how this pharmacy works. If I come from an appointment, either in person or via phone/video, I can pick up at this location. I can also pick up here if Prompt Care sends it here. But there are some instances they send to Walgreens (not CVS anymore) and then other times I get it in the mail. Mail is regular, routine meds. But then also weirdly enough, prompt care had to send some meds to Walgreens as well--so I had to go to two pharmacies. The last thing you wanna do when you're sick... is anything really, but for sure managing meds and just getting them. I wish this system was a bit more streamlined and easier to navigate. Front desk and lab are always awesome! I need an app for labs, which I prefer to VA Oceanside where I had to get there at 0700 and wait in a line or risk not getting in at all. Parking is easy, and they salt the walk ways. There's an overhang for drop off service.
