What a cool spot! I just discovered this place last weekend when I was trying to go to a Resident…read moreCulture to pick up a couple of their Cumulo drinks. I parked in the garage connected to the shops and they validate here for 2 hours with purchase. Lots of nice vendors here - pizza, ice cream, resident culture, specialty cheese, and a couple boutique stalls. I will definitely be back for the pizza and ice cream, pizza smelled great and the ice cream looked delicious. I found the drinks I was looking for at Resident Culture. I think they are a bit more expensive here, maybe because of the location. But service was fast and friendly and I'm looking forward to coming back when I have more time to hang out! @azfitfoodfun

This is a public food hall with a couple different food Vendors. To be exact 2 sold food, 1 was a…read moretie dying station, 2 only sold alcohol, and the rest sold sweets. This food hall is small and doesn't offer free parking you're looking at $10-$17 depending on when you go. The restrooms were not the best but usable. Over all I would give the food hall itself a 2 but what food I got from a vender really increased it. Chop Chop Red Pot- The lady was super nice and very professional when answering all our questions. Service was 5 out of 5 Food was on the pricy side Kids grilled cheese $10 it's bland but for kids 4 out of 5 BBQ pulled pork $12 nice BBQ sauce and loved the bun 5 out of 5 Smashed burger $15 kinda messy very saucy 4 out of 5 There are no sides but the taste was well done but I can't say it was worth the price. Chop Chop would get a 4 out of 5 Bringing 7th street food hall to 3 out of 5 total.

So I like NoDa's farmer's market pretty okay. It is the quintessential necessity of a similarly…read morekitschy neighborhood. As with most farmer's markets you will find it open on Saturday mornings. This one is actually open even through winter for some of those winter greens, indoor gardeners and handmade foods and goods. That's certainly a plus. On the flipside, this is so depressingly small I feel hesitant to even call it a market. Even in the warmer months when the Earth is most productive it's a market you can seriously walk through in a few minutes if nothing catches your eye or you're not searching for something you know they'll have. If you like to completely stock up at markets this wouldn't be the place to do it. It's also not particularly cheap unless you're buying the bulk-sized fresh produce. My personal favorite small company here is called "wish we had acres". They make some absolutely amazing smelling natural deodorants withOUT aluminum in them in case that's something you're sensitive to. The Dumpling Lady also shows up from time to time with some hella good Chinese inspired dumplings for steaming or frying. PS: They're outside on the grassy corner lot in the warm months and inside the Neighborhood Theater on the cold ones.

If you are thinking that this is going to be a gigantic farmers market that you might find a little bit more south from here then think again. This is a very local small neighborhood market where you can still expect to find everything you need. The NoDa neighborhood already puts out an extremely relaxed and artistic vibe that will be further represented by the fine folks that set up here on Saturday mornings. Fine cheeses, local honey, fruit, and vegetables are all here.. Plus lots more!! There are even really cool t shirts you can buy to help represent the neighborhood and the farmers market. The prices are pretty typical I would say. We are talking about extremely local products here. Honey that is made less than a mile away or produce from a farm just outside the city. You'd expect to pay a little bit more than what you would at Harris Teeter because you get the added benefit of knowing that these products were made locally and with care. If all else fails.. Stop by take a look around. Meet some nice folks and have a good rest of the day in the neighborhood.
