Athens High School was amazing. It is a shame they closed it to form Pikeview. At least in my graduating class I think we far surpassed the national average for students who went on to get advanced degrees. read more

It needs to be replaced also. 1964 isn't to old but the place is falling apart from the inside. They hardly fix anything they have the same doors from 50 years and they hardly work. We have lockdown drills and they don't tell us when it's a drill. I pray the whole time and then at the end they are like " the lock down drill is over" and everyone is like o I'm not dead. What entertainment. Sports systems are pretty good but we have terrible players. Cross country is the best we get to do very fun things and we don't suck as bad as our football team which never ceases to loose to the most pitiful of teams. It may be a craphole, but it's my craphole, so that's why it's 2 stars. Actually complete crap no two stars for you. You can't even get a seat at lunch. every one here dates their cousin or their friends mom. I still have a good time screwing around.

I always pictured myself going to WVU after graduating high school, and I do regret not going, but in the long run I guess it's kinda hard to leave home.
