I was in transit in Istanbul, 30 minute before takeoff I went to the store right next to the gate. I looked at bracelet and I asked the price the store manager quoted me 4500 I said what currency he said Lira, then I asked what is the equivalent in USD he said USD1000, so I bought the bracelet, so they announced that the boarding, I gave them my credit card and signed without look, rushing out of the door. When in the plane I realized that they charged my card 12,300 Lira. So when I landed in Munich I called they told me the charge is right because your quote was in Euro, I said I have asked many times what the currency is and I was told it is Lira, they said they will look into it but they never called, I called them many times, and as soon as they here my voice they hang up. Then finely I was able to reach someone, and that person said, I offered to fedex the bracelet they refused the return. So becarefull , they use a currency trick to scam people. Beware.
