    Cheese Slice.

Cheese Slice. SUBPAR. The flavor is practically nonexistent on the Slices sold here. The faintest hint of taste which I would probably attribute to poor quality ingredients. AVOID.

Wow, super impressed with this spot! Pizza slices are more expensive that other slice pizza joints ($3.50-$5 for a slice) but it's impressively delicious. Their cheese pizza is excellent and has a perfect ratio of cheese to sauce. The crust isn't too crisp and has a good chew. $3.50 per slice. I suggest getting their chipotle chicken pizza. This is incredible. Piled on with chicken and toppings, this nicely spiced slice will be the best thing you eat that day. $4.60 per slice. I also suggest their plain garlic knots. 6 for $2.50. Incredibly garlicky and soft!

Probably the best pizza spot in all of Astoria. Even though Astoria has tons of top tier food assortments, pizza has never been it's strong suit. In other words, thank God for the Pizza Factory! Great plain slice, specialty slices, Grandmas and pretty much everything you'd expect from a great pizza shop.

Updated review: Astoria Pizza Factory 2.0. I would like to first recognize Fil, the owner, and his INCREDIBLE customer care. After our first visit where we received what we thought was a terrible product, was actually redeemed tonight with a variety of delicious items. After hearing about my bad experience, Fil personally reached out to me to apologize, explain, and correct our initial experience. Because of his kindness, we will not only be regular customers but we were able to eat one of the best pizzas we have had in a long time. We had a meatlovers pizza, a calzone, and one of their most talked about Sicilian slices. All DELICIOUS!! I highly recommend this place. I will be a regular.

I have ordered from here well over 50 or more times . One thing I appreciate is consistency, Astoria Pizza Factory always comes through. They always deliver REAL QUICK !!! I have had pretty much all the salads and the house dressing is my favorite. Let's talk about their pizza , the crust is not doughy and cooked almost thin. The sauce is really nice too , not salty more like a marinara. .My favorite slice is the eggplant delight. ( many curated slices to pick from ! ) They also have great buffalo garlic knots . The heat is on the money with these . They have tables inside and by my recommendation my friends have ventured against and again when they are in Astoria.

Good pizza and nice staff. A bit expensive compared to similar spots in the area, but I would come back. Seating was a little bit limited but I went during a busy time.

Called over on my lunch break to quickly pick up an avocado salad. The cost was a little pricey for what was provided BUT it was still worth it. The salad dressing is creamer than a typical balsamic vinaigrette and I LOVE it. I've also had their pizza before and I have to say, they are doing something right! Even a plain slice satisfies my little cravings. I will be back for sure! Pizza- yes! Salad - ehhh maybe.

Sicilian CUP SLICE with Vodka Sauce

Astoria Pizza Factory is a gem in Queens with tons of parking so you won't have to worry about searching for a spot! When I went I wanted to try all of their Sicilian Slices so that's exactly what I did. Everything was so fluffy and I especially loved the pep cups. What I loved even more was that the slices with pep cups come with either regular sauce or vodka sauce. I loveeeee a good slice with vodka sauce so it was gone within minutes. Another one that I liked most was the Upside Down Sicilian because it had a different seasoning on top but I recommend all four honestly. As for Covid, there's no inside seating so you have to take your food to go but they do offer minimal seating outside. Next time I go I need to try their Buffalo Knots because I heard they're amazing.

I actually came here to go grocery shopping next door. Saw the pizza spot and felt compelled to walk-in and try it. I don't eat pizza very often. Last time was maybe a year ago of you can believe it. Trying to slim this belly down lol Anyway, I'm a huge fan of buffalo chicken pizza. Unfortunately I didn't see a slice available from what they had on display. So I went with the classic grandma slice and they actually had buffalo garlic knots so you know I had to at least try one. The grandma slice was perfect. Good sauce nice crust and flavorful. The buffalo garlic knots was good too. I just couldn't imagine having many of those. Nice punch of that Buffalo sauce flavor. The knot itself was a bit on the oily side but that's to be expected. Still I'd go back and order it again if I'd have the chance. Their other slices looked good too. I just wanted something simple this time around. Totally hit the spot for me.

I didn't see prices for slices (but maybe native NY'ers know you can order by the slice I saw a lot of people with slices only) so we ordered a whole "pie". They were very nice about letting us order something off menu (pepperoni and mushroom) and half sautéed veggies. You order at the counter and then wait for the pizza to be brought to you. It's a chill place with a couple of tables. The pizza was piping hot and I didn't even know I burned the roof of my mouth until after I was satiated from the pizza! The cheese pull on the pepperoni mushroom was great. The cheese was obviously fresh cuz of the pull without having to load on tons of cheese . It was very well balanced. The red sauce was sweet (is this a NY thing?) but I didn't mind it. If you want a pizza with great cheese pull. Go here! But you have to eat it while it's HOT. The sautéed veggies pizza was surprisingly good. I say surprisingly cuz I am not a veggie fan in general but it was good enough for me to enjoy eating the entire slice! Great pizza! Next time I want to try the grandma slice to see what the difference is from a regular slice.

For appetizers, we ordered the fried calamari and the baked clams. I absolutely love their baked clams -- I don't eat them from anywhere else. What I appreciate most is that their clams don't have that strong "ocean" taste; they're seasoned perfectly. Their sangria is also the BEST. I had the white sangria, which was delicious, and my husband and dad ordered the red, which they really enjoyed. For the main entrées, I had the shrimp scampi, my husband had the penne alla vodka, and my dad ordered spaghetti with garlic and oil with a side of broccoli. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. The vodka sauce was creamy and tasted homemade. My daughter ordered a personal pan pepperoni pizza and loved it. The service was excellent--our server was really polite, knowledgeable about the menu, and checked on us often. I also love the atmosphere: when you walk in, it feels like a classic pizzeria, but once you head to the back, it transforms into a cozy fine-dining space. The lighting is perfect, and the music is just the right volume. The last time I visited was over four years ago, and I'm happy to say the food and drinks still taste just as good as I remembered. Overall, it was an amazing experience for my dad's birthday, and we'll definitely be back again.

While that may rank as a relatively mid-tier title by NYC standards, as the neighborhood restaurant average is sadly and shockingly low, especially considering its location in the literally center Queens, this is nonetheless a very special neighborhood treasure, befitting it's stalwart status at now over 30 years of age. Classic Italian American with some New American flourishes, the place stays consistent and honors its tradition while simultaneously managing to keep things fresh and staying up with the times. The pizzas are well-executed and make great use of the gorgeous wood burning oven, but for me it's almost impossible to order anything else but my go-to order, one of the house specialties the classic Cavatelli with broccoli raab and some particularly pungent hot Italian sausage. A modern day classic in the cannon, finding decent versions around the city is tougher than one might imagine, particularly in my experiences in this borough. The version here, served like the rest of the offerings in an extremely generous portion that usually yields some delicious leftovers to take home, is a strong contender for the best in the borough title. Also of particular note is the exemplary super-thin and savory chicken parm, served in the previous era in various forms including with spaghetti and broccoli, as well as with risotto, currently served smothered with a spicy vodka sauce and paired with rigatoni. I've only recently became aquatinted with the rich and unctuous dry-aged burger, served simply and unadorned save for American and sharp raw union, on a classic and proper sesame seed bun, it's a stealth under-the radar competitor for the best burger in the hood nod with previous title-holder Dirty-Pierres. The expansive, two-room space, an ideal setting for the many private events and family gatherings that regularly occur here is aptly bright and inviting with the aforementioned pizza oven serving as its centerpiece. I generally sit at the bar which offers ample opportunity to converse with the top-notch staff, just as genial and affable as you would hope to find in such a longtime neighborhood institution, as well as the fellow patrons, who are, more often then not, you guessed it, longtime local resident regulars.

This was one of the best new pizzerias in NYC, opening to great accolades from various publications. Being a poor kid in Junior High School working for a mere $3.75/hr across the street at the corner Baskin Robins (RIP) did not give me the opportunity for quite some time. Anyway, fast forward 5 years and I finally had the chance with a few friends to experience what many called the best pizza in Queens, and I was very impressed. This became my regular "fancy" pizza shop of choice. What I loved most about it was the crispy and charred thin crust. It adds so much to the overall taste and enjoyment. The sauce was deliciously tangy and the fresh mozzarella made it a level above everything else in the neighborhood. One word of warning, the pizza could get a little soggy in the center if too many toppings are ordered. I usually choose none or no more than two. Also noteworthy is their yummy calzones. My personal favorite combination is sausage and spinach. Mixed with all that oozing ricotta and dipped in some tomato sauce, that is one great bite. Lastly, I like most of their salads too. Their food has been a staple in my diet for most of my adult life. Decades go by, and out of nowhere, I hear the news that Nick's had burned down. What a loss for our community! What a loss personally! Thankfully, they are back and feeling every bit like the original. Food is as good as before, while the decor and service has always been on point.
