For the past year I have been dealing with pain from Rotator Cuff Tendonitis (irritation & swelling…read moreof the tendons of the shoulder). I tried Physical Therapy for 2 months with minimal positive results. Then one weekend I exacerbated the problem by spreading mulch for several hours. I was in constant pain and nothing seemed to give me relief. I heard that acupuncture can be an effective treatment for chronic shoulder pain so I decided to give it a try. The results were immediate and my pain was relieved by 90% after the first treatment. I have been going to weekly treatments for the past 4 weeks and I am amazed at how much better I feel. I went to Advanced Health Care Solutions (AHC) http://www.advancedhealthcaresolutions.org/ which is a family owned business at the corner of Strickland and Creedmoor and talked to them about my issue. They recommended that I have a Digital Thermal Imaging Scan which showed the areas of inflammation around my shoulder and neck area. Then using the scans Dr. Marc Cutler, the Acupuncturist began treatment. Dr. Cutler was professional and knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. His staff was also courteous and attentive to my needs. As background Dr. Cutler is a past President of the North Carolina Acupuncture Association and has operated one of the most successful Acupuncture & Integrative Practices in NC for the past 20 years (see his bio on their website). Fortunately, Acupuncture works great for rotator cuff tendinitis. First, it works by increasing the circulation to the area and decreasing inflammation in the tendons. Secondly, acupuncture stimulates regrowth of the cells and tissues in an injured area. And as I experienced, it helped to reduce my pain significantly which was a huge relief. Some other Common Conditions treated with Acupuncture are below. I know of someone that went to Dr. Cutler for allergies and was able to stop getting weekly shots for their grass allergies. He is even mowing grass now with no issues!: * Allergies * Carpal Tunnel Syndrome * Back Pain * Neck Pain * Knee Pain * Bells Palsy * Nerve Pain * Post Stroke Recovery * Paralysis * Fibromyalgia * And many other health issues

I've had scoliosis since childhood and lived with chronic back pain for years. I stayed active and functional, but pain was always part of my daily life, and I truly believed that was just my reality. Over time, my back pain has decreased significantly, my mobility has improved, and my sleep is so much better. I no longer feel pain like I used to. My adjustments have honestly become part of my wellness routine and something I genuinely look forward to. The office itself is welcoming, family-friendly, and professional. The front desk staff are always kind and patient, even when bringing kids along to appointments. My children also receive care there now, and we've noticed positive improvements for them as well. I also appreciate their holistic philosophy around health, nutrition, supplements, and supporting the body naturally. You can tell they truly care about helping patients feel better overall. I am writing to offer my sincere recommendation for the chiropractic care I have received. As a…read moremassage therapist myself, I approach bodywork and structural care with discernment and respect for clinical skill, intuition, and ethical presence. It is not easy to find a practitioner who embodies all of these qualities, yet that is exactly what I have experienced in my appointments at Staker. I initially sought care due to the cumulative effects of "tech neck," ongoing stress, and the physical manifestations of unexpected grief and life crisis management. My body was holding a significant amount of tension and imbalance, and I needed care that addressed not only structure but the lived experience behind that strain. Throughout my treatment, my chiropractor demonstrated a consistent ability to assess, listen, and respond with both precision and intuition. Each appointment reflected a thoughtful understanding of how stress, posture, and emotional strain can manifest in the body. The adjustments were careful, measured, and appropriate to what my body needed at that time--never rushed or routine. Equally important, the environment has always been calm, respectful, and grounded. I have felt safe to arrive as I am, whether carrying physical tension, emotional weight, or both. That level of professionalism and human presence matters deeply in therapeutic care. As a result of this work, I experienced improved alignment, reduced pain associated with neck and upper back strain, and a greater overall sense of physical stability during a challenging season of life. I wholeheartedly recommend this chiropractic practice to anyone seeking care that is both clinically skilled and genuinely attentive to the whole person.

Miracle Workers! My quality of life was pretty poor when I found out about Dr. Jason and acupuncture. I admit that I was very skeptical when I scheduled a consultation but I did not have much left to lose at that point. The first time I met Jason I knew he was different. He approached my migraines with such a confident attitude and caring energy. His ability to care and heal is beyond any medical professional I have ever come across. He literally changed my life! I have now been going there for 5 years! Dr. Mike joined the family a few years ago and is equally amazing and I would not hesitate to see him! Both of them know the right time to make you laugh through the pain ( which, let's face it, it hurts sometimes). I go to them with all kinds of issues, not just migraines. The thing that stands out to me and really sets this office aside is how much they care. You aren't just a patient or a paycheck. The doctors and staff knows your name when you walk in the door! The office manager Julie is incredibly welcoming and remembers the names of your family members and friends when you talk to her before appointments. My whole family ( both parents and brother) are patients here and I have sent multiple friends who have also fallen in love with the office.
