Aspirations is amazing! The instructors are so warm and encouraging while maintaining control of the group and provide fantastic instruction! My kids have so much fun and can't wait for their classes each week. They provide such a variety and the boys only classes are great for my son. After being a member of this dance company for 5 years I left due to the lack of respect for people. The owner herself doesn't care to loose people, just $$$$$. Sadly ratings on this and other pages have been paid for, by granting tuition credits. I'm writing to avoid having someone else go through what so many others have. The moms there are adult bullies. So far, so good! My 3 year old daughter is taking the disney princess ballet class, and she loves it. Miss Autumn is a very good, patient instructor. She is teaching them balance, jumps, postions and flexibility while having fun. Staff is friendly and helpful, hopefully my daughter will want to keep dancing. They could make the parent lounge/waiting area nicer and more comfortable, but other than that, it's a great place. read more

As my daughter is considering majoring in dance in college, I am always looking for opportunities to try different studios and teachers without leaving our current studio. We arrived. It was easy to find, ample parking. There was no one at the desk. We waited. Twenty moms sitting there and not one talked to us. Five minutes after the class started, we were still waiting. We left. Owner is all about money. Promises she will work with you while robbing you blind. Her husband had said he will never sell something unless he can make double. By the end we saw the technique was not up to par with other studios. She charged double for shoes and jewelry and "semi custom" costumes which you had to alter and stone yourself. Charged double than most studios in the area. If you search the reviews on her page they are mostly 5 star because she gives tuition credit for reviews. Dance quality is more hip hop than anything. Turnover for ballet teachers almost every year. If you aren't with her you are against her. Studio moms are worse than dance moms. I was almost physically attacked. And the owner gave no punishments. She kicked off alot of people off team the past year because they didnt share her vision. Scoring from nationals was a joke. read more

Aspirations is an amazing Family oriented dance studio. Both of my daughters have been dancing here since they were 18 months, they are now 6 and 7. The staff is really friendly and very experienced. If you're looking for a dance studio that is friendly, caring, and a family atmosphere this is the place for you. The studio seems to be great with a family friendly environment. The parents are pretty great and welcoming. However, the leadership is lacking and creates an environment where you cannot voice your concerns without a tongue lashing and a wall of defensiveness. Additionally, the studio extended the competition contract in their own, without approval from the parents and expected us to comply, again without being able to voice concerns. Lastly, the have social distancing rules in place but do not enforce them thus making us feel unsafe and then our family was ostracized when we chose not to attend. They did not seem to care and refused to accept any responsibility for their actions, including giving us our money back. Buyer beware. read more

My son is just finishing his first competitive season with ADC Fierce and to say he loves it is an understatement. He is 5 years old and ADORES Miss Kelly and everyone in the ADC family. That is just what it feels like, FAMILY. I have seen my son become more confident in everything he does, he has passion for things I would never imagine. I love that he can walk into the studio and be greeted by staff with open arms. The Aspirations Dance Company had a phenomenal year this season, winning tons of awards, including HUGE awards such as FDC and Video of the Year. If you are looking for a place with incredibly skilled teachers that have so much passion about what they do and strive on the kids learning, then this is the place to go. I love Aspirations Dance Company!! They offer many styles of dance for the students, and those that want to come in and just try something new. My daughter has been dancing there for 4 seasons now, and I believe would go into an absolute melt down if she had to be pulled away. Kelly Callese is a passionate teacher, and so is the rest of her staff. I love the fact that she not only employs local dance teachers but she also searches out professional ballet dancers to teach her ballet classes from Chicago Ballet companies. Completely agree with previous reviewer - teachers are great with young kids, but the facilities are a bit run down and the parent area needs some actual furniture/tables. My daughter enjoyed being around the other dancers and they welcomed her with open arms. We also met some great families and the tap instructor was awesome. The big problem is that there was a lot of negatives with this studio and the owner is not receptive to any feedback. If you question anything you are made to feel terrible and at times will be personally attacked by the owner and instructors. The owner's expectation is for you to purchase everything from her. I understand that for uniformity purposes that some things need to be purchase from the studio but at other times you should have the right the purchase it from elsewhere. Especially when she is marking everything up. Costumes were marked up tremendously and were made of poor quality. We also received them a few days before the first competition and still had to stone them all ourselves. Competition fees are marked up as well. Also, the lack of practice was a huge issue. Classes that were cancelled were never made up and certain instructors were consistently late to class. Choreo classes were cancelled or shortened. After the first competition there was hardly any practices and the instructors would get frustrated with the dancers and yell at them when they forgot the dances. Because of this technique classes were cancelled and replaced with choreo. These are classes that we already paid for. Instructors were free to cancel classes and many of them did at the last minute. The owner does not like anyone questioning anything about the studio and will threaten parents by posting messages on the tv screen about being negative and saying that she will remove the chairs so that you don't have anywhere to sit anymore. When it got to be too much we were courteous to let the owner know that we were going to finish up whatever we already paid for and then withdraw my daughter from the team. She decided then and there to remove my daughter from the team. She refused to refund us for the week's worth of classes that we paid for, the last competition that we paid lots of money for, and the recital fee that we never participated in. The worse part of it all is that she lied to the Better Business Bureau and falsified the parent agreement that she sent to them by adding something that was not there originally. She also lied to them about my behavior towards her, her staff, and some of the parents. This business has poor morals and ethics and I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

Not a very organized studio. Always has billing errors. Technique is not strong. I wouldn't recommend this studio.

Just have to say Thank God I found this studio. My daughters have been here for a little over a year. We started in rec classes and now we have moved to team. I could not be happier about everything that has happened in the past year. The memories we have made. The achievements my daughters have had. It is amazing what the teachers have done for my girls. All the love and support. The training is out of this world. I am so proud of them and to be honest I am honored to be a part of it. Now a days girls dont have a lot of places to turn to to get that positive reinforcement from many things they do. This is where they can get it. This is where they can be uplifted and given a chance to blossom as individuals and as part of a team. I am so happy to tell the world that this studio gave me and my family the best year ever.
