After a week, the referral had still not been received by oral surgeon. When I called back to Dr. Lamansky, the office staff lied and said it had been sent. After many additional calls, the staff admitted that it had not been sent and had a lot of excuses about being understaffed and the dentist not being available. No apology was given. The attitude of the staff was unprofessional. The referral was given to a surgeon that was not covered by our insurance. When I asked for a different referral, they refused. There was no interest for the welfare of the 10 year old child that it was affecting. Very petty staff. I would never recommend this location to family or friends.

I really appreciated the quick x-Ray results that pop up on the large screen so you can see everything right away. It was kind of terrifying to see everything up close but very helpful nevertheless. My hygienist was very thorough and personable. She explained everything before she started working on the next area so there were no surprises. She did a great job cleaning my teeth. The dentist was great too but he did remove his mask towards the end while standing up and explained my treatment plan. He did maintain distance but was still in the room with me so that made me a little uncomfortable. I also wished they could elaborate more on preventive measure for future reference in addition to treatment. Overall, I am satisfied with my first cleaning visit here and will return for appointments.

The building itself is really nice. Every room has a TV that shows what's on the computer, so you can see your bitewing X-rays as they come in. For the next couple decades I visited many specialist out of state, and later throughout Wisconsin. I lived with partial dentures, a couple poorly placed implants, bridges, empty spaces, and severely receding tissue. I found Dr Wanserski on my own, and during our consultation I actually felt hopeful for the first time in a very long emotional and painful road. The first thing I loved was his confidence that he could truly improve my misfortune. He was most certainly knowledgeable, and he was compassionate about my past dentistry experiences. He truly wanted to help me. Together along with his unprecedented staff he created a comprehensive treatment plan. I cant express the love I have for his extraordinary staff. They are all an exemplar of professionalism, intelligence, skill, and compassion. The staff work together cohesively. Dr Wanserski's chairs are continuously full and the place runs so smoothly. My praise goes out to all of them. Thank you! My needs were challenging and complex, but today I walked out of Dr Wanserski's office with a FULL mouth of gorgeous, perfect, and functional teeth that has made me feel whole again. Thank you for making me feel that I was the only person in a chair when they were never vacant, for your focus and attention to detail, for the belief in yourself and your staff, for loving your vocation and your ability to exert that onto your patients, for always putting me at ease with your stories and humor. Thank you for giving my life back!

We tried a few others in the area and we finally landed upon Northwoods Dentistry in Wooddruff (Minocqua). Although we are pretty good judge of our personal needs---this was a huge mistake. While customers of this dental clinic---and not for a very long time---we were charged for mistakes (a filling on my wifes tooth fell off---2 times) ..the first time the dental clinic took care of it. But the second time they wanted us to pay to reattach it---so i complained about that and said I didn't think that was right --they subsequently reversed the charges. Then one day-- I had a bad tooth ache--real bad---and I felt abandoned---no help for my pain. It was up to me to find relief. So I searched and searched and found a Dentist in Park Falls that gave me relief. But the real kicker---I had another tooth that was bad---I mean really really bad --although i am not a woman...I would have preferred giving birth than dealing with this pain. Again--i felt abandoned by Northwoods Dental Clinic of Minocqua. So I searched and searched on the web and landed upon Szmanda Dental Clinic in Wausau--it was about 6:30 pm and somebody actually answered the phone. I was treated with so much respect and empathy---they fit me in the next day and I was finally put out of my misery as Doctor Nichols and his staff --on the spot--- extracted the tooth that was giving me so much agony--thank you Szmanda Dentistry. More to the story: We decided to move all of our dental deeds to Szmanda Dentistry and Doctor Nichols-- my wife is kinda woosy when it comes to dentistry stuff---they treated her with kid gloves--she was very relaxed when we left. I was so relieved. so thank you Dr. Nichols and Staff--Brianna,,Hannah and Robin too.
