Very friendly and professional staff at the Hammond office. I always have gotten seen straight away for my appointments and have been satisfied with the care. It has been a lengthy process from teeth extractions, a temporary denture for months while my gums heal etc.. I had a tooth break on my temporary Classic denture, walked in and was seen immediately. Serena Jones, DDS and all the technicians always treat me like I'm important. Special thanks to the technician who is actually making my "custom mouth". She talked with me at length discussing tooth shape, color etc.. and to the dental techs who answered my numerous questions and calmed my dental anxieties. Much appreciated and thanks! Poor service even after you've spent $3000.00 on dentures. They say walk ins welcome that is a lie.

Be very careful if you are an older patient & not sure about their procedures. If you think you may not want to have any new type of treatment & you have to pay a 60% up front fee it will take months to get a refund. I keep getting the runaround from the corporate office to the local office in Hammond, La. They always have an excuse. Today I was told they are understaffed & would call me back. That's really not my problem, I have been waiting 2 months now to get back my payment on a procedure I decided I didn't want. Charged over $5,000 on my credit card.. I have tried to be patient with them but now I am getting annoyed with the delays & excuses. So I advise not to get involved with a procedure you are not sure about especially on your first visit. read more

We were very disappointed with our experience. Despite clearly stating that our coverage is through private BCBS insurance and not Medicaid, the staff insisted on contacting our employer's HR department to verify. This was unnecessary, inconvenient, and made us feel as though we were being treated unfairly. We came for dental care, not to have our competence questioned. No other dental office has ever confused our private insurance with Medicaid. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we cannot recommend this office and will not be returning. read more

They asked me for a rating: Care quality is terrible, awful and I am a senior citizen. First they take your money to purchase dentures that they call top of the line lies they are not top of line. Also you think you paid the entire bill and they send you another bill. Also , they set up credit with care credit and fire you to sign up. Now I am 75 years old and the entire staff in finance was very pushy, demeaning. Now for the adjustments the first adjustment appointment took one month. The second adjustment took one month, on the doors it reads "walk in allowed " After you purchase their product I had a tooth that broke off my dentures, a look on these dentures look like the the teeth is falling out appeareance I made an appointment and was told I needed to clean my teeth with dish liquid. My teeth were rubbing I walked in and they gave me an adjustment. My last time I go in for an adjustment they refused me service after I told them they were hurting my gums the office said "I am sorry you have to make an appointment" . Now nobody was in waiting room and these dentures cost over $2500.00 top of the lifetime warranty. For as long as I live I will not go in another Aspen. I will send this info to corporate. Denture service. When I first got my dentures a year or so ago, it was not a good experience. Especially if you need to see the "Dentist". She will cancel on you. This happened to me twice. Two out of Two. I waited 2 weeks and now she cancelled again. The quality of care is below par. I will find another clinic. DONE!! read more

Paid $60 for a free repair today. Also had to wait 8 hours. I have comfylite which have 7 year warranty. This is the 5th time they have broke. 3 times it was the same tooth. The warranty is useless. I will take the loss and never go back. read more

Hmmm, thought this place must be great with what their add says on TV. Never got to experience the Dr.'s care. I could not get past the receptionist, didn't realize she was the person in charge of the entire facility. And now with the feedback I am reading, I am gonna find a real dentist. My short story is that I called for an appointment for my son, who was suffering with a tooth ache. Receptionist said need to come in for x-rays and exam at a cost of $280.00, then schedule another appointment for tooth repair at a $300 cost (approximate) So right at 600 dollars for the tooth ache, plus he would still be in pain until they were ready and available to to do the work. Repairs couldn't be made untill results from xray and an additional office visit. Actually sounds like a scam to me. Really can't understand how they still have a business.... but my lesson learned. Will not be doing business there. I also love their generic responses to the feedback, just so professional at what they do. read more

If I could I would give zero stars! I had a dental implant and crown removed that they said since it was placed at an angle, needed to b removed, it was put in somewhere else. I had the oral sx on June 18th on June 23 I was in a lot of pain so I went to have it looked at, I was told it looked good. On June 26th I was in even more pain, I called at 3, the answer machine message was that there were closed, they closed at 1pm, but if it was an emergency call the 1-888 number to leave a message with operator. I called the number right after I got of the phone so about 3:10, spoken to a gentlemen he got my information and would send a message I should hear back from doc in 20 minutes, at 4pm, I called back spoke to a different person who took my info said they would send a message, at 5, I called again spoke to a different person, after getting some info and looking she advice me that the Hammond office did not participate in answering service, I said oh, the first 2 operators did say anything about it. After I got off the phone, I thought wait a minute the Hammond office gave me that 1-888 to call for emergencies. I called back spoke to yet another person told her the last person said Hammond did not participate in answering service and she ask for my info then the call was disconnected. I called back and spoke to yet another person, said this was my 4th call said I was disconnected said I was told that Hammond didn't use the service and she took my info and said she would said the message she didn't say Hammond did participate in answering service. I waited another hour spoke with yet another operator, I said this was my 5th time calling and still had not received a call back, she said all I did is send the message I can't make them call back. So I ended up going to er and all they could do was gave me a prescription for 3 pain pills, 1 every 24 hours, I was in so much pain they did absolutely nothing. I had received an email from the aspen dental regional manger when I first had the procedure to contact her if I had an concerns or any questions so first thing this morning at 8 am I called her, she did not answer so I left a detailed message, I did not hear back as of yet. At 10:30, I called Aspen to cancel the 2 future appointments that I had already scheduled because the website would not allow me to do it online. I said I wanted to cancel an appt and b4 I could give her any information I was put on hold, someone picked up and said Ms Kelly would u like to come in today to be looked at, I said I had things that I already had made plans, ok so u want to come in tomorrow, I said I wanted to be seen Friday or at least Saturday, she said we don't listen to answering machine message til Monday at 9am, I said I called the 1-888 number that the voicemail said to if there was an emergency and I called 5 times with no one calling me back and I did leave 2 messages on the Hammond office machine and she said, I shit u not, we don't check messages on the weekends and we don't have the 1-888 emergency services set up! I mean seriously it says to call that number if it is an emergency so why does it say that and well she did not have an answer! The sign on there door says their hrs r 8-5:30 like Monday and Wednesday, open until 7pm I think on Tuesday and 1 other day, 7-4:30 on Friday and like 8-12 on Saturdays and offered emergency services after hrs. If u look at the website it says Monday thru Thursday 9-5 and Friday 8-1 and closed Saturns Sunday so which is it, website obviously so the sign on door should b removed. I decided to go here after I could not get ahold of my other dentist since reopening after quarantine and when I sent them a message to schedule they never called me back, I needed to be seen and since they had longer hrs with emergency services it was perfect, well NOT so much. So I would not recommend to anyone, go somewhere else unless u r completely desperate or dying! read more
