-10 stars. Dr Moore is literally the worst dentist I have ever experienced. My wife is going through chemotherapy for a rare leukemia. She needed a check up and him to sign off on a simple form for a life saving bone marrow treatment. Not only did he not even bother looking at the form, he stated "it wasn't his problem" and my wife needed to talk to her coordinator at UAB. He was ready to full some teeth immediately but didn't care at all about whether it would be ok with her upcoming procedure. His staff was thoroughly embarrassed because of his behavior. And I don't want to forget the elderly lady who was having a screaming meltdown when we walked into the office. DO NOT GO UNDER ANY CONDITION TO THIS IDIOT WHO DOSNT CARE ABOUT HIS PATIENTS. read more

Had a long time crown replaced in the Gadsden,Al office...the temp crown fell out and had to be reglued...the permanent crown fell out and had to be reglued...fell out again and decided to go to Isbell dentistry in Rainbow City...end of problem. $$$$ wasted at Aspen...learn from my mistake. read more

Dr. Moore and his staff, have been amazing. Jeff does amazing work on dentures. I will post photos of my wax try in. my upper lip was fixed after I took these photos. I have a class 3 bite, and they were able to set my dentures in a class 1 Which is almost impossible with the severity of my underbite/ anterior cross bite. My teeth are beautiful. Go to Affordable Dentures in Albertville for the best services at a MUCH MUCH better rate and FASTER same day service....And they answer their phone unlike Aspen..Their bookkeeping is horrible...Go somewhere, anywhere! else...This office has nothing going for them... read more

My x-ray technician was Latoya, and she is amazing. Super efficient and accurate in placing the lil spacer thing where it needs to be to get that image. What is usually the longest part of a visit was the shortest thanks to Latoya being a rockstar at her job! read more

Great staff ! Great doctor, I was very comfortable there. I was seen quickly, went over my treatment plan, the office manager gave me the price after my insurance and was able to get my cleaning in the same day! Definitely recommend!!! read more

I am in from out of town. I just needed them to glue on my composite that fell out. They were rude. Kept trying to take more and more x rays. I told them repeatedly I just needed to have them reattach my composite. read more

This office is awful!! The dentist are pretty good but the actual office part is awful! They loose paperwork! After I paid $3000 dollars I had to argue with them that I paid it! Then about every other appointment was scheduled wrong and had me there for something completely different then what I was supposed to be there for. As of my last appointment ($6000 later) I was refused my appointment time bc they claim I didnt confirm it when I had proof of my 5 minute conversation with their office the day before read more

My son needed a crown while he was out of school on summer break. They applied a temporary and 8 months later, they have yet to install the permanent crown. They will schedule an appointment and then call and cancel on the day of the appointment (if they remember). He has driven from Tuscaloosa, skipping classes, for an appointment and then arrived to find it was canceled. To make matters worse, they send us a letter admonishing us for not having the procedure completed yet and threatening to add fees if we do not get it taken care of immediately. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I called Aspen Dental at 8:30 to get an appointment to pull an abcessed tooth and I went in at 10:30. Had to wait quiet a while and finally had my tooth pulled. When I got home and pulled the gauze off I discovered she had pulled the wrong tooth. I went back the next morning and told the desk that the wrong tooth was pulled. I waited almost two hours because doctor Haight was not in. I finally told the desk lady if I didnt get to talk to someione I was going to raise more hell than ever. I finally talked to the person that pulled my tooth(not a doctor or dentist because she is neither) I had gotten a price for a bridge before she pulled the wrong tooth for $4200.00. After she pulled the abcessed tooth the price for this bridge was $14,000.00. I finally asked for a price on a partial and it was &1484.00. After she pulled the abcessed tooth when I got home there was a bone sticking out where she had pulled my tooth. I had to go back and get the bone taken out. I called for a pain killer and when I went to pick it up she had sent another pres for anti boitics. Had to call them back to get pain killers.Needless to say I didn't go back. Needless to say you can't get an attorney because there is not enough money involved. Aspen is definately a big scam. read more

My husband and I went Aspen in Gadsden for new dentures. Went for the first wax try in and they weren't right. The female dentist was a little snippy but I ignored it. Went back for second try in and a third. Each time she was snippy to me and my teeth had a gap between the front two teeth on the dentures. I kept just ignoring her attitude. Yesterday I went to pick up my teeth up and the gap was still there. The female dentist called me a liar when I showed her the gap and I ask why the cuspids were so long as they had not been that long on previous dentures. She then began to yell at me telling me She was the dentist and they were all like that. I said No my others aren't like that. She steadily kept yelling at me and I'm trying hard to get a word in edge wise. My husband was in the room across the hall and I ask him did he hear this and he said yes and got up and came in there. At that point she quieted down some but steady kept rolling her eyes at her assistant. Finally she hollered What would you like me to do now? Well at this point I felt humiliated , shocked and very embarrassed. So I said in light of the way I've been treated I think I want a refund and take my business somewhere else. She then rolled her eyes , let out a big sigh and stormed out. The assistant took me to a room where I waited on the office manager. No apologies, no I'm sorry for her behavior. I've never been talked to like that by Doctor of any kind before. I will be filing a complaint against Aspen with the BBB and with the dental association against her personally. If my refund does not arrive soon, I'll be seeing an attorney. I've never had to give a bad review to anyone before, I hope this helps someone and they don't have to go through the humiliation I did just trying to get some teeth. This post is kinda long. However, my story needs to be told. To make as brief as possible, I am not going to be so focused on correct grammar/punctuation.  I do need to point out that I am an RN and work as a Corporate Consultant. I say that so you know I am quite knowledgeable when it comes to medical stuff. I also know a good bit about dental stuff because part of my job is to train dentists and dental staff. Insurance changed. Had to make some changes in dental providers. Have a new clinic in town- Aspen Dental. Decided to try them. Figured their equipment, etc, would be modern and up to date. I looked online, decided on a provider and called to sch appt. I was told I could not see that provider because all new patients had to see head dentist (a woman) on first visit. Ok. No big deal. 1st appt was 1st week in May. Dentist I saw was not one they told me all new patients HAD TO SEE. I liked him so, again, no big deal. It is important to note that I was told I would not be seeing just one dentist as a patient- my appts would be with the one working day of my appt. I had a few treatment needs. Sch appt  for fillings, but on day of appt, I was having severe pain in top molar. Dentist said options were extraction or root canal. I went with root canal. He did not feel comfortable doing root canal, but he did remove nerve and packed tooth to give me relief until I saw the dentist who would finish up. He gave me Rx for antibiotic(Clindamycin). I was scheduled the following Friday. Showed up and no dentist. Had to reschedule appt. I had to leave town for work, but was assured my tooth would be ok to wait. In meantime, I had some significant side effects to antibiotic and had to immediately stop it, but I only had a few days left. Got a call day before next appt, no dentist, need to reschedule. My appt was resch to this past monday,  July 10th. I was in another state for work. Started having severe pain in that tooth last week. Pretty sure it is infected- pain, swelling, tightness. I flew home for my appt. I get home and had voicemails saying my appt had to be resch due to no dentist. Was told on Monday that office manager would call me back. Did not hear from her, sent email to corporate office. Office manager finally called and told me there was no dentist there to see me or order antibiotics. I was in serious pain at this point. Had to get back on plane Tuesday morning. Was told the dentist would call a prescription in at pharmacy near my work. Wednesday morning woke up in agony. Could barely close my mouth. Called office and gave # to pharmacy and asked for penicillin due to severe reaction to Clindamycin.  Checked with pharmacy few hours later and no prescription. Called office. Left message. Office manager called back. Dentist refused to order antibiotics because he had never seen me. Office manager also told me that the dentist who started my treatment is no longer with the company. Note what I was told my first appt. I'm a patient of clinic not specific dentist. He had my records. I called corporate office. Was promised a return call from person over Alabama clinics. Never received that call. The office did call me back. Dentist agreed to call in Clindamycin since that is what I was prescribed before. Refused to call in penicillin since he had never seen me- even though I explained the severe reaction I had. Picked up prescription last night after work. Decided this morning to file complaint with Board of Dental Examiners of Alabama. I looked on med bottle to see dentist's name. The office called in the prescription in the name of the dentist who started my treatment.  THE DENTIST WHO NO LONGER WORKS FOR THE COMPANY. I found contact info online for that dentist and sent him an email to let him know the office is ordering prescriptions in his name. Sent another email to corporate office. Still no phone call. Will be mailing my complaint to the board. I have to decide: do I risk dying from an untreated oral infection or risk serious medical complications from antibiotic? read more

I have been a patient for several months. I have had a filling, tooth extractions, cleaning, and had a partial made. I am very satisfied with the quality of all the services and the very pleasant attitude of the employees. Jamie, who works in the office, has always been very helpful. Ashley, a dental assistant, has also been very nice and has done an excellent job of adjusting my partial for the optimal fit. All of the dentists have done excellent work and helped me avoid unnecessary procedures and extractions. I highly recommend Aspen dental in Gadsden, and especially the two employees I named. read more
