My mother visited the dentist and they said she did not have an appointment after it was confirmed on voicemail. She had to wait for an hour after an hour drive to the new location. The receptionist was rude and noncompliant and my mom requested the dentist and was finally seen after refusing another appointment. I asked for a refund on the money I paid toward my services needed due to the fact my next appointment was in October 2024 and I did not want to wait that long to receive dental service. I spoke with dental assistant up front regarding my request. She stated, I see no record of you being seen in this office but I will let the office manager look at it maybe she will see something I don't. I spoke with the office manager she stated, "I have no record of you coming to this clinic". I stated I have been to Aspen dental prior to 2024 and in 2024. On my March 20, 2024 visit I was scheduled to have a tooth extracted; however that did not happen. The dentist performed an oral exam, told me what services were need and left out of the room. I then met with the office manager to discuss payment options and provide dental insurance for the services rendered that day and for future visits. I was having problems obtaining insurance information from my Delta Dental App. The dental assistant assisted me by looking at my daughter's chart to obtain my dental insurance ID number. My next appointment was on March 26, 2024 at 10:00A.M. for a cleaning. She scheduled my next cleaning for October 2024. She walked me to the door and I proceeded to my car. I took proof that I paid $1,000.00 to the dental office. The office manager, assured me she was putting in a ticket for my refund. I contacted Aspen yesterday (June 12. 2024) I was placed on hold only for the unidentified person answering the phone then told I would be contacted by the end of the day. I was not. I was told there was a security breach the reason why my information was not in the system. I have proof I paid money and I received an exam and cleaning. I would simply like my money refunded and proof action is being taken on my claim. The security data breach occurred April 25, 2023. The patients should be notified if there is a more recent breach. read more

I would rather give them a zero star with the experience i had. I went to get my wisdom tooth removed and they started scaring me with various other services which if i didn't do would spoil my teeth. So i went ahead and paid $1500 for filling services up front. First two appointments went normal but the 3rd one was a nightmare. I was given a different dentist than my regular one. He broke my tooth while performing a simple filling procedure which was not even detected by Xrays. I couldn't eat from my right side due to this for almost 2 years. Would never recommend them. Well I have decided to give an update on my experience with Aspen Dental in Flowood,Ms. After my last negative review of Aspen I was called in to the office to see how they could help correct my problem. The problem goes back to when Dr. Mckay pulled nine of my teeth in one day. She left one large tooth on the front. She didn't explain to me that my partials would not look right with that large tooth next to it. When I went back I was told they could cap that tooth and make it blend better. So Dr. Brown capped that tooth costing me more money!! Dr Brown did the best she could but it is still not what I expected! It all goes back to Dr. McKay not explaining that my partials would not look right leaving that tooth. I have spent over 7,000 dollars! I now am stuck with these partials and these crooked teeth till my Insurance will help replace them. This experience has changed my life completely. I am ashamed of my teeth and refuse to smile and show them. That is a sad thing when I went to Aspen trusting that I would have teeth and a look I would be proud of. no no no! I went in knowing I need work done. However, it's like an assembly line. Franchise dentist! I was told I needed a hygiene treatment, 8 fillings, 2 crowns, a bridge, and braces top & bottom. $5070 for this treatment, fillings, and crowns. Got a second opinion today. No crowns, no bridge (I'm not even a candidate for one), and second price 1/5 the cost for what's NEEDED. Unless you have thousands to give away, don't go here! I would not recommend Aspen Dental in Flowood. I went to them in October to see about getting a tooth cut out. As to this date I have had 5 teeth filled and 10 pulled. The one tooth that my dentist told me that needed to be surgically removed they capped. That was so not right! They made a mess and charged a fortune. Now as of this date I have partial dentures that I can't wear! Between my insurance and me I have spent 5,000. I am now having to go to another dentist to get him to fix what Aspen should have done. The free offer of xrays and an examination is a come on. I was repeatedly told I needed to add extra expense such as a cancer exam and cleaning. I had a broken tooth in the back of my mouth that would not hold a cap. I knew that and told them I wanted it extracted. Instead, I was quoted the expense of a partial plus the extraction for a total cost of $1500.00. I only wanted the tooth pulled! I am retired on a limited income. I came home and made another appointment with another dentist. My total cost will be less than $500.00. read more

My appointment back in March at the Aspen Dental in Flowood, MS has caused me nothing but problems. They literally changed my entire mouth for the worse, they told me my old fillings needed to come out, because they were cracked. I had those fillings since I was a child they were old metal ones so I took them on their word. They shaved down both teeth and made perm crowns for them. One was seated properly but has some uncomfortable bite pressure. The other has fallen out at least 3 times, I've lost count, I've wasted so many hours waiting for them to repeat the same procedure of recementing my crown that keeps falling out. Now it has fallen out while I was eating and I just swallowed it without noticing. I have never been more disappointed with a service than my encounters with the people over at Aspen Dental. read more

I would give this a zero rating if I could. This was one of the worst experiences I have had with a dental office.The original appointment was on a Monday at 3:30pm. We arrive on time only to be told the appointment had been rescheduled by a staff member and no one bothered to call to tell us. We drove 20 miles to this appointment. Ok, we come back the next day arriving 15 minutes prior to his appointment since he was a new patient. Upon arriving we had to call from outside to inform them we had arrived...understandable, due to Covid19 there is a limited number of patients allowed in the waiting area at any given time; however, this doesn't give you a pass to be rude. The office assistant came to the door with a clip board and told us we couldn't come in...sit in your car and fill out the paperwork until you are called. OK. My first instinct was to leave but this was my sons appointment and he was excided to get his teeth cleaned. We sat for an hour and a 15 minutes with the car running, in 90 degree temperatures. Then my son have to go to the restroom so I take him to a Panera, in the same plaza, since we can't go into the dentist office. Of course, while he's in the restroom the dentist office calls. He answers and tell them he will be right over. We get back 2 minutes later and call to be let in the office and he was told that we had to reschedule because we wasn't available when they called. Are you kidding me? This appointment was already a reschedule by your staff and no one even bothered to call to tell us. We waiting over an hour for you and you couldn't wait 5 minutes while he went to the restroom. My time is just as valuable as yours. I will never give Aspen Dental my business or refer them to anyone. If you treat your customers like this I can only imagine how you treat your employees. read more
