Maybe you can find and get this from somewhere else, but the taste will differ then you're not eating fresh and hot. It's a soft and also crunchy with syrup on it. It is similar to Spanish dessert called Churro which is also a fried-dough pastry. Difference between them is, you eat Churro with something like chocolate pudding or hot chocolate but in Halka tatlisi there is syrup, so you don't need to eat with another dessert.
