Crispy Duck Saute
Boris T.

As an exchange student from San Jose, California, I was craving some good Asian food. After passing by this hole in the wall a few times, I decided to give it a try. I was definitely surprised by the quality of food I got for the price I paid. In the past two times, I've been here, I ate the Crispy Chicken Red Curry and the Duck Saute. Both were delicious! Both the curry and saute had tasted like the dishes in the Bay Area. I did not want to leave a single drop of the sauces left on the plate. They were that good. As for the service, it's what you'd expect at any other restaurant in Germany. However, the chefs and employees friendlier than the other chefs and waiters. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to have a taste of Asia.

Solid Asian food with prices that can't be beat. Great for a bite before or after a visit to the BMW Welt or BMW Museum

This small place was excellent! The smells from outside were outstanding and the food did not disappoint. Fair prices and large portions.

Cheap yummies! Love every panini they make!…read more This place has a few standard paninis that they have every day/week, but they also change a few up - so you never know what they're going to come up with! There is not one panini which is over 6 euro, so it should fit each person's budget for lunch. The sizes of the paninis depends on what kind you want, but my personal favorite is the pastrami - which they've had more often than not recently. However, the eggplant and sun dried tomato panini is super delicious as well (but they don't have it all the time). The reason I did not give this place a perfect score, was because the quality of the paninis can vary. Most of the time, the paninis are up to par, although sometimes I feel like they skimp on the fillings.

I have to agree with my friend Molly on this one!…read more The artichoke and bergkäse panini is drool-worthy. Also, I don't know of any other lunch that can equally satisfy me for under 4euro.Cheap yummies! Love every panini they make! As for the location, it is in the area of the Viktualienmarkt that is really close to the Schrannenhalle. There can be a short line, but when Molly has brought me here, I have never waited more than a few minutes. I think most people flock so some of the more popular stalls at lunch time, so don't worry about waiting half of your lunch break for a panini hahah. I can't, however, give Luiginos 5 stars because the panini isn't going to blow your mind, but it will at least leave you happy :)

Great idea and judging by the number of people who showed up, I'm not alone in that mindset. Giving…read morethis event a 3 though is generous, too generous. Please note- this score is NOT a reflection of the vendors but of the Event Management. Very little pre-event communication. It wasn't until day of that an entry fee was posted and questions for weeks beforehand on the facebook page went unanswered. I didn't mind the queue to get inside. Fortunately I was there before the Rain began, but still endured the strong winds. And it moved fast! The event was over-capacity. I heard horror stories of people (ie: my friends) waiting 1.5 hours outside in a queue to Buy food. At the advice of the man working the door, I immediately went inside downstairs. The room was full of tables and benches and after 25 minutes of hovering, I snagged seats. Though holding those seats for friends waiting for food for another 60 minutes was not an easy job. Luckily the professionals from walter&sohn were conveniently located behind me without a line. The white vs red wein pours were Very uneven but alcohol was alcohol and was able to hold me over until someone brought me (gave up on the lines outside and waited on one inside) a sweet potato sandwich from Effe&Gold. And yes, this was Gold standard in my book. Hopefully they put this event on again. It has potential and interest!!! Maybe charge for tickets in advance and then open to all but caution there will be separate entrances and priority to those advance purchasers.
