This review is for the experience overall. Went here on a Sunday night and it was Chaos!!!!! So loud! It's hard to focus on food when everyone is running around yelling. The place was a mess too. Food all over the floor. The food selection was standard but hot. I did notice the food pans were refreshed constantly so that was a plus. They have this Japanese cheesecake I had never tried before and I'm obsessed, I'm just not sure the cheesecake was enough to make me want to go back. read more

I do not recommend this place. We went and were sat at the very back while there where many more tables. We found a hair in our food and we're only discounted $4. The price walking in said $10 and we got charged each around $14. We where being watched by the waiters most of them time. As well as being handed the check before we where even done eating. We came here because they have crab legs and the price is just under $15 with a drink but when we got inside all the crab legs were gone then it took them about 30mins to bring out more by then there was a line and when she finally came she didn't have very many crab legs which went very quickly when you ask staff about more crab legs they ignore you.... the spicy tuna in the sushi was definitely NOT fresh (I hope I don't get sick) read more

Did I also mention that there are like four aisles of food with a huge dessert/fruit stand and that we sat at a CLEAN table and was personally waited on by the manager? Our drinks were never empty, because they didn't give them the opportunity to be! For a 9$ buffet, the sushi was actually pretty fantastic and they had a good selection. My favorite, of course, was the California roll with cream cheese. Totally fresh, I watched the chef make it! I cannot say how much I love hibachi grills. You get to add your choice of chicken, beef, pork, crab meat, vegetables and a plethora of sauces to a plate and watch it cooked right in front of you. All of the meat was fresh and they had a nice selection of vegetables choices (broccoli, onions, bean sprouts, leeks, cabbage, baby corn, mushrooms, etc). You must add the spicy red sauce as it will burn your a*s, for real. (Tip this guy a 1$, he rocks!) They have the usual Chinese selections like sesame chicken, orange chicken, egg and spring rolls, broccoli beef, fried rice, white rice, and pepper chicken and had other delicious offerings such as bacon-wrapped shrimp, cold shrimp, sweet and sour chicken, oysters, crawfish, salmon and a crapload of fresh fruit like watermelon, pineapple, melon, cantaloupe, and grapes. The dessert bar was more plentiful than what we are used to with things like; coffee cake, cheesecake, banana pudding, cookies, ice cream, cream-puffs, and pudding. The food was better than any other buffet in the area and they never let it get low enough for someone to complain. Great service, friendly and excitable manager who personally came to each and every table to ask how our meal was and pretty decent food will have us coming back for sure. Yep, this is an Asian buffet. I'm not a huge fan of buffets because I'm a pig that cannot say no and walk away when enough is enough. The food is always fresh and very good and the service is always friendly. They also have a hibachi noodle station, fries and chicken fingers for the kids, salad and fresh fruit for the healthy, California rolls, cheesy fake crab bake, orange chicken, ice cream, chocolate chip cookies. Really the quintessential Chinese buffet, with glittery red tables. Just stay away from the "banana" pudding. The manager even provides great entertainment with his song and dance. There was no need for everything to be diabetic sweet in there. My friend and I finally made it to this local buffet on a Saturday for lunch. We found all the selections fresh and appetizing and the service perfect. I observed spills attended to quickly and everything I saw was spotless and clean. We enjoyed a variety of sushi and many many different dishes including crawfish, mussels, kung pao chicken, beef broccoli, stir fried green beans....really too many to list them all. I attend a Chinese church and they frequently choose to have parties here. And that says a lot. Every time i come there are a bunch of Asian people, which is a good sign. Compared to other buffets, this place is 5stars ! Definitely a step above other buffets. I can't judge on the preparation of the food since I'm not in the kitchen, but the place is beautifully decorated, clean, and spacious. The food tastes good. Is it as authentic as a country cafe in rural China? No...but it's definitely got character and meets expectations. The fruit is tasty, not tasteless like other buffets. My favorite food there is the dumplings and rice noodles. Their broccoli is fresh and yummy! There is a big selection of food and things to try. My favorite part of the meal though is the owner! Although this is a cheaper buffet , I was still mildly impressed. I went with my boyfriend and we were seated at a table. The manager is sorta rude, well he is. From the very beginning to when he greeted us till the end. He was very loud and was yelling at all the employees. The food was decent. Each time we tried to get up to get a new plate they asked if we were done and tried to bring the check, we felt extremely rushed and as if we weren't aloud to get another plate! Then we finally are fed up and agree to pay, when my card pops up STOLEN! My boyfriend didn't bring his wallet for like the first time ever and the server called the manager over. The manager was talking extremely loud giving us no privacy and causing a scene which lead to us feeling embarrassed. I love this buffet. Great selection even for the lunch buffet, great seafood, and food is always fresh due to the fact that they are usually always busy. I have been here for the last 2 weekends and the quality of the food is the same. The first time we came over was 45 minutes before closing time. They still had a lot of food when it was nearing closing time. At the table we were approached by A guy named Jack to ask how everything was and since I was looking for a dish that had run out from the buffet he had the cook make a plate for our table. He made sure we had what we want. I have never been to any buffet place that did this. He had things to do at the front before the store closed but he did not make us feel rushed but made sure we enjoyed our food. I have eaten and tried other buffet places and you could tell the food is fresh and they come out with food pretty fast. The selection is good. The price is very reasonable for the food that you get and there are a lot of things that I mentioned that makes them stand out form the rest. The place is also very clean. Oh and don't forget the Mongolian station that you will enjoy if you have a little sense of cooking lol. Use garlic, onions. (a lot of it). I've been here a few times and haven't been disappointed. They offer sushi and hibachi and I think they might need to axe the hibachi and focus more on the buffet...I don't know that I've ever seen anyone actually use the hibachi and the food on the buffet could use more rotation. After going back and forth by e-mail with the owner, Louie, I agreed to give the restaurant another shot thanks primarily to his enthusiasm. Turns out he had been in Taiwan for some time and had just gotten back to the states. I could only imagine the nightmare of coming back from overseas to the problems leaving for such a long time present. My husband and I were pleased with the quality of the food as usual. Since it was two meals we paid for initially, I was expecting both of us to be comped. I was disappointed when Louie told the hostess to just comp one, but didn't complain. A free meal is still a free meal, right? Imagine my surprise when we go to check out and he says he has something for me. As we're paying for dinner, Louie pulls out a very nice wok and says it's a present! He then gives us a gift certificate for another free meal. Did I mention that he also entertained us by juggling a drinking straw with chopsticks? He said to come back with the wok and he'd teach me how to make fried rice. Fair warning to those who are used to the American style of Chinese buffet, it's a little noisier than others thanks to Louie's ebullience. He sings at the front counter about Asian King Buffet and has the energy of a toddler who's eaten espresso beans. His behavior will be more comfortable to those familiar with the Eastern street vendor culture and economy. Singing, dancing, juggling; this is all meant to set you apart from the many other shops you could go to. The theory is to make yourself as memorable as possible. Happily, for me it works. First impressions are everything. Appearances give us those, and this place really has a very pleasing aesthetic look and selection. Next comes the real test! Taste, quality and service. With such a large selection, and my Chinese buffet preferences very wide, I was sure I would find SOMETHING I felt was off. Wonton soup. Beef/Chicken and broccoli, orange chicken (slight spice), general tsos, fried cheese square (cream cheese), honey chicken, GREEN BEANS, sweet and sour chicken, sweet and sour sauce (red sauce), fruit selection, and jasmin tea were all on point (let the tea sit for 8-10 minutes, it's very fresh brew and the tea needs to steep). The only things I found that could use improvement were the lo mein noodles were a bit mushy, the cheesecake was spongy and was kinda weird tasting. Bathrooms were nice, tap water tastes good, and service was great both at turning over and replenishing buffet and waiting tables. I think for hitting so many marks, this place deserves a 5 star rating. Nobody's perfect all the time, but these guys really held it down. Came on a Sunday night around 8pm. I'll be back. read more

They had the normal Chinese buffet dishes and some awesome additions too - my husband loved that they served Mac and cheese for him and our little one to enjoy! They were super busy but the food was hot and fresh and they kept having to refill the buffet with new food which was great cause it never got cold! Servers were attentive too! read more
