Very very RUDE STAFF. I sent my boyfriend in while i was at work to get me food while i was FaceTiming him so i could tell him what to get me. The tray was not even full and one of the women employees was yelling at him saying too much food and practically pushing him out the door. I asked for soy sauce and hot sauce and the women straight up said no when there was PLENTY there. He wasn't able to get me what i wanted because she was practically pushing him out the door before i could even get what i wanted. This is not the first time either. I called to complain 5 times and nobody answered the phone. Very POOR SERVICE and the food was COLD. I work right across the street from there, there should be no reason it's cold. read more

I enjoy going to the Asia Buffet. I usually eat there once a week. They have a good variety of food choices. I have found everything to be very fresh. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. It is one of the best Asian buffets I have tried. The restaurant is always very clean. read more

I went here with my husband, infant and 7 year old. My 7 year old wont eat chinese. So I paid for my husband and I to eat here well the guy said we dont do that so he refunded me my money. He was very rude and inappropriate in front of my children. I dont reccomend this restaurant to any family. Very disappointed and wont be coming back to this restaurant ever again. read more

Was going to order two different entrees to take back to our hotel, but was told we couldn't get anything made-to-order and would have to take a buffet-to-go instead. Restaurant actually lost money on us, since I crammed lo mein and sesame chicken into the box. Not sure why they wouldn't make made-to-order food (which I like to get, thus insuring it is hot and fresh). The sesame chicken was pretty good, but the BFF didn't care for the lo mein, said it was too salty for her. One pro: the buffet included a soda. read more

Being from California and visiting the bay area just for the Chinese food I was craving some good asion goodies. Well I satisfied my craving but was disappointed with most of the items. The only thing that was worth the 30 minute drive were the creamchees wanton' s. Everything else was OK and the fountain drinks were flat. Just moved to Butte and wanted to try the Asia Buffet. The woman behind the counter was rude. We got the to-go boxes. She followed behind us the entire time, everything we got (very unnerving!) She seemed irritated. There was a very small selection of food and most were empty. She seemed to stand over everyone at the buffet. We asked questions a couple of times and she was short. We went to leave and another customer, sitting in the restaurant, reminded us to get the drink we paid for with dinner (not a word from the employee). Found a bag on the counter and loaded our boxes in. Asked for chopsticks and she angrily pointed across the room. We got our drinks and left. We'll never be back, ever. I would avoid this place at all costs and find a place to order to-go from. We're determined to find a good Chinese place! Or else we'll make at home. read more

I was visiting Butte on a business trip and this place was relatively close to my hotel so I thought I would give it a shot. The food was okay. I tried a good sampling of most of their offerings and there were three main stand-outs in my opinion. The first was the egg-drop soup. I usually order this from any Chinese restaurant I go to and Asia Buffet's was surprisingly good. Not too salty and enough flavor to be recognized as a good egg-drop soup. The second was the salt & pepper shrimp. The shrimp were lightly breaded and had a plenty of shrimp flavor. The third was the sesame chicken. Although the sauce seemed to be a quite thick, the flavor was good and it paired well with the fried rice. Both the steamed rice and fried rice were under-cooked however. I think if they had been cooked well, this would have been a much better dining experience. Also, the hostess was not the most polite, customer-oriented individual. read more

Food is bad, and customer service is rude! Well, in detail, food has some variety but all seems taste the same, really on the sweet side and no other flavor as Chinese food supposed to be! Owner is not friendly, almost seems like they don't enjoy seeing customer, and extremely grumpy, really no customer experience but bad ones so to speak! I frequent this buffet at least three times per week for an order to go because no one else in my family likes it. I am disabled so I cannot stand and cook. They give you one box to go so I have miss out on salad Jell-O and desserts. I get a small amount of white rice a small amount Mongolian beef a small amount of chicken stir fry I fill the small compartment in the box with coconut shrimp then get an egg roll and some chicken and some sweet and sour sauce. They are closed on Monday so I always go on Sunday. But today I was told I could not get an order to go on Sunday. When I asked why she just kept saying no no no and then said go away. I said I always get an order to go on Sunday why is today any different and she said no no go away. I figure I spend around $60 per week with my orders and I tip well. Most people don't even tip when they eat there or to go but being in the service industry for many many years I always tip very well . When I do get my orders to go the woman who is always there hovers over me like I'm putting too much food in the box but I try to ignore it. But today when I was told no I was very upset because I was being discriminated against. Apparently since I'm in there so much she figures I take too much food. Sorry but you cannot put $13 worth of food into that small box. I was telling my daughter about it and she told me that her and her boyfriend went in one night at 7 p.m., they close at 9. My daughter is a big girl and her boyfriend has been ill and does not look very well and they were told that there was no food left and to go away. This place is very discriminative against large people or people that they don't like the looks of. I will never ever again go there which sucks for me because since Danny Wong left the Pekin is not the same and the four seasons closed and OMG is terrible so I am Sol for my Asian food which I really did enjoy until I was treated so horribly on Sunday November 10th at 2 p.m. I will be posting this review everywhere I can and I intend to turn them in to the better business bureau for discrimination. There's a lot of options, all the dishes I tried were pretty good! Even the ice cream tasted better than I expected. Good price. You fix your own drinks and food, which is good for me because I'm nervous about interactions. Clean, hot food and best of all, the shrimp dishes were amazing. read more

If there was a minus category, that's where my rating would be, -5! The woman who I paid for a to go order and did not speak English, followed me around as I selected food. I 1st chose steamed shrimp then fried shrimp when I went for my 3rd selection of shrimp which is my preference, she started yelling at me in her native tongue. She continued to follow me and yell at me about taking more than 2 different kinds of shrimp. At least that's what I assume given the fact that she was speaking in her native tongue, which I did not understand. When I attempted to take a 4th selection of shrimp. She started raising her voice and telling me to leave the restaurant. It was humiliating to have this woman in her native tongue yelling at me, following me around and obviously very unhappy with me, all of which was in front of the other customers who were staring. You would've thought I killed someone. Not only did I find this embarrassing, but publicly humiliating! I have eaten here about 3 times and the food seems to be consistently good. Not great, good. It's hard to get too excited about a buffet style restaraunt. The place is new so it's not rundown or dirty. The prices seem to be reasonable. There is no real Chinese ambiance, but what the heck, it's Butte. I am grateful for any new places here. read more
