Very dishonest. Ordered a couch and charged 199 dollars for delivery and what we were told included pickup. Delivery people said they do not pick up the old furniture. Ordered 2 chairs from another establishment at same time and they charged 40 delivery fee and picked up the old furniture. When called they just basically said they do not pick up but salesman said different. Very bad place that does not care about you. DO NOT BUY THERE. If I have to get rid of my old furniture would have picked up the new and saved 199 dollars. Again beware. read more

I cannot believe what happened today! We ordered some bedroom furniture on 1/30 for $1800 and we were told it would take about 6 weeks to come in, so we went home and eagerly awaited for our furniture to arrive, but while waiting we did some measuring and discovered the furniture we ordered would not work, so we asked to return the furniture we had not even touched yet and the store manager, Shawn stated that we could not. I was in shock, how can I be charged for something that I never possessed? Shawn was incredibly rude and was talking over me, insisting that this was the case. I couldn't believe it. How does a business survive that charges people for furniture that they don't have! They said they would return it for a restocking fee, roughly $300! I never even got the furniture! I never was notified of where it was. How is this possible???? I find your swift review and empty apology even more disturbing. I did not "drop a F bomb" my husband did. Furthermore you would not listen to me or my spouse at all. So not falsely apologize in an attempt to slander your customers. Poor form, but I wouldn't expect anything else from you at this point. I disputed the transaction with this business due to their shady practices and won! I recommend if you do any business here put it on a major credit card so you have the ability to dispute the transaction. Overall I would just recommend going some place else. There is a reason this place only has 1 star. Beware if you buy something here they have an all sales are final policy in which they give you no heads up about. Also we found much more high quality products at other stores with no hassle. Their manager follows a fraudulent practices that I doubt would hold up in court. We have received nothing but good service from Ashley Furniture in Helena. I've had to have 2 repairs done now on my new couch/love seat set, one which was a manufacturing deficit and one that was our fault (actually the dog) and both times they took care of us with no issues. Came here to visit my family for the summer and we decided to stop by here to shop for their new home. I was helped by a lovely young women named Jessica and she was beyond helpful! She was very young, but very mature and experienced for her age. She answered all our questions promptly and helped us find exactly what we were looking for. The prices are affordable and the quality of the furniture was spectacular! My family loves their new living room set and they plan to be back very soon. I recently bought a new mattress and living room furniture from the Helena MT store, spent $6k. Went on sale 3 days later...called 2x and spoke 1x with floor manager Nancy. She was to call me back, NEVER did so I called again today was told no adjustments. I have basically furnished my home with items from Ashley and was due for addition things. Ordered a bedroom set back in Oct. Did not receive some of the pieces until December. Waiting on my chest to come in and it finally came in January...damaged. They had to order another one and it didn't come in until March. It too was damaged. Called and spoke to the Manager and he told me he would look to get me another one and call me back. Never received a call back. I finally called again and he stated he didn't remember talking to me. But says he has a chest in stock but he as the manager can't get me on the schedule to have it delivered as he doesn't know how and I have to wait for scheduler to get in tomorrow. Awful service. You pay and wait four weeks for your furniture to arrive and table and chairs were all damaged. You have to take delivery and they said would call 24-48 hours to tell me what they would do to get me replacements. Of course they didn't call and still waiting two weeks later, after going into store, to hear when I will get replacement. It's cheap garbage furniture, DO NOT buy from Ashley furniture!!! read more

Don't shop here! Purchased a mattress and discovered it was the wrong size. I returned it unused in plastic covering and and was given a credit because my check hadn't cleared. I went back to get my money and was told they would not give me my money back, just a store credit. I'm retired and on a fixed income and money isn't easy to come by. The store manager refused to give me my money back, called me a liar because I wasn't aware of their credit only policy. He said I KNEW about the credit only policy and was lying about it! This little Asian guy wasn't even there when I bought the mattress! If he represents the company Then I will NEVER shop there again. The choice selections were great, the store was organized, and the new manager, Jimmy, greeted me and helped me look for everything I needed to furnish my new home. The store is just amazing you definitely will find everything you need for your home. Although if its your first time shopping there you can get lost since the store is so beautiful. I had amazing customer service from their employee, he showed me exactly where to go for what I needed and help me choose a beautiful bedroom and dinning room set. I struggled with this review because I love my new mattress and the sales gal was great. However, I have huge problem with how I was treated regarding my delivery. I had forgotten what time my delivery was so I called and was put on hold for what seemed like forever. Finally a woman in the warehouse picked up and when I asked her what time my delivery was scheduled for she literally said, "didn't you get that information when you bought it?" I explained that I has misplaced it. I could hear her huffing and puffing around and then she asked me to hold. I'm assuming she thought I was on hold because I heard her say I'm sick and tired of these stupid a** customers. She then got back on the phone and quickly gave me my delivery time. Before I could even say anything or ask another question she told me to have a good day and she hung up on me. I am beyond disappointed that you allow anyone to speak to your customers like that. I was ready to cancel my order but didn't want to pay the restocking fee. I had a great experience with the sales gal and even the delivery team that came was very professional. But I can not get past how I was treated when I called in with what I felt was a very simple question. I really hope that maybe she was having a bad day, but anyway you look at it her behavior toward me was unacceptable and down right nasty. If management ever reads these I hope that you can address this issue so that no one else ever has to be treated like I was. This easily would have been a 4 or even 5 star experience if it was not for the phone call with that woman. read more

When we decided to buy a couch from Ashley Furniture I was sort of skepitcal at first only becuase we had used other local furniture stores and had very good services, but my brother had bought a very comfortable couch from Ashley Furniture in WA and had great results. The woman that helped us was great she was personable and easy to speak with, I have no complaints with her. Although when it came time to getting financing in order she seemed almost frightened to go and speak with them. Then when we were finally allowed to go and speak with them, the finace people were egregious. They were cold and acted like they had something better to do than deal with us. Again, I decided that everyone has an off day and looked past it. We were told that our furniture would take 2-6 weeks to arrive which wasn't all that bad but when we explained our situation and told them that we had just bought our home and had no living room furniture. We tried to calmly express that we needed to get things done as soon as we could and again, we were told 2-6 weeks, again fine. Then when it came to someone calling us and giving us an update we were left a message and we did call back. When we called back the person stated that they were having trouble hearing and that they would call back. We never received a call back. The next call that we recieved was a woman telling us when the shipment was coming in and that they needed to inspect the furniture when it came in which was a Tuesday, and we were told also at that time that we could not recieve our furniture until Saturday because their trucks were being serviced. To top this all off we then recieved another phone call from the same person on Friday confirming that the furniture would be delivered on Saturday but that it wouldn't be unitl 1300 that day because we were the last stop that day. We were not asked what time worked for us we were literally told that is what we get. When we stated that the time didn't work for us as we had company and plans for that afternoon, we were told that the truck that was supposedly being serviced was in Missoula for some reason, not being serviced. After catching the woman in her lie she reluctantly offered to bump us up to 1100 only if the other people that were scheduled to receive their furniture at that time were okay with it. The only outstanding experience that we had were the gentlemen that delivered and setup our furniture. They were courteous and kind and very easy to talk to. Overall I would not recommened going to this particual Ashley furniture to anyone. The services we recieved was sup-par and at times rude. I can handle a lot of things but I don't like being lied to. We do love the furniture but the bad services over shadows the quality of the furniture. read more
