Cost, delivery not free, do they take away old for free? Is return side optional for sofas?

A couple of weeks back I ordered and purchased a twin mattress in a box. I received a call to pick up. Pick up location differs from the store. I had to call the store no less than 4 times for the directions to the pick up location. Each time the directions were different. I get home with my purchase only to find that I had received the wrong item. I call the store for advice as to what can be done. Beth informed me that there is "nothing" that she can do. I ask for the name of the manager. Beth then informed me that each store is individually owned. I ask for the owner's name and phone number. Beth responds with "ma'am, I can no longer talk to you" and hangs up on me. I call back and find out that the owner's name is Brian Wilson (if it is at all) and that there is nothing that they can do to assist me in reaching him. Pathetic. read more

If could rate a negative number I would. We were delivered a totally different table and chairs than ordered. This took from December to almost March to be delivered. The manager lied when we went in to complain. She showed us a set then did a bait and switch apparently. Customers beware she is a good liar to sell. Paid way many more than it was worth. I will never buy anything else there. A seller of poor quality furniture you must wait months on. Even had to put it together. If you want lied to and cheated by a crooked manager buy from them. She would do nothing to fix the issue. Ashley furniture says they stand by their furniture do not. They should close if they can't do better, they are a seller of poor quality and crooked management who is out to do anything to pass off garbage to the customer. I bought a couch from there and it had bedbugs alol over it. When i tried to tell them two days after they brought it they stated they would tell the warehouse. Then they stopped answering me for a month. a month last the manager finally talks to me and said pretty much nothing they could do. even though i took pics and reported them two days after getting the couch. I was out 3K for a couch and 1k for an exterminator. Not sure whether im going to take them to small claims court or not. PLEASE DONT BUY THERE STUFF! BED BUGS RUINED MY BRAND NEW HOUSE! read more

Very cheap furniture and terrible customer service after the sale. Unprofessional and they do not do what they say they will do.

Customers be very aware of their repair and replacement warranty. I recently purchased a leather sofa and love seat for our summer lake home in Russell Springs, KY from Ashley's Furniture Store in Somerset, KY. What a terrible experience I had this time with this furniture company. This national furniture chain has the worst customer care / customer service standard operating procedure (SOP) I have ever experienced. So you are fully aware, If you purchase a product (assuming it is a new product from Ashley's Furniture) and it is delivered with damage, do not expect them to replace the newly purchased item at all. Their "company policy" is to fix the problem, not replace the product. So be very aware of this SOP as the store manager does not have the authority to do anything else what so ever. If you have the item returned for a refund, be sure you are aware that they will tack on an additional 25% restocking fee to do so. I my situation, that would be around $600.00 for a returned damaged sofa that should have never left the warehouse in the first place. It would appear that powers to be at Ashley's can only live inside the box and have yet figured an alternative means of restitution for issues like this. Any person could have seen the damage on this sofa and pulled it before it was even delivered. At this time, I will be disputing this charge on my credit card and if the company fails to refund ALL of my purchased money back to me, I will be filing a civil action with the Pulaski County Courts. That is not a threat, it is a promise..... I will not put up with any company trying to rip off consumers in this manner. How dare you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more
