In my son's words, "She is super chill, and I felt comfortable the entire time. She is fun, easy to talk to and she made the day fun." Rachel utilized fantastic angles of my son while also incorporating the landscape of downtown SLO that really brought every picture to life, and all of the final images were amazing! Her use of lighting, composition and her attention to detail were perfect. We absolutely love our son's pictures, and highly recommend Rachel Higgins to anyone looking for someone to capture truly exceptional photography.

Which is exactly what I was looking for in our wedding photos. Thank you for making us feel special and capturing these beautiful moments. Blake captured some awesome shots of my mother in law who despises pictures and is not shy about dodging the photographer, so he gets an A+ just for that! Thank you for your patience and working through our hiccups, which I'm sure no wedding is short of. Thank you so much for allowing us to incorporate Louie's car into our pictures which was a bit last minute but your team handled it so well and even made us look like models! On the day of my wedding, I sometimes forgot I was even being photographed/ filmed. Looking through our photos and videos afterwards, I was amazed by all of the little moments he caught: the glances, the details, and the moments I wished I could hold onto forever. Then there was the turnaround time. I was in complete disbelief at how quickly he got everything back to us. His timing in everything is impeccable, and the quality is absolutely stunning. The photos themselves completely blew me away. The lighting, angles, and composition have an elegant, editorial quality that genuinely feel like something you would see in Vogue. Our wedding day had such a timeless feel to it, and Patrick captured that beautifully. The videography was just as incredible. He pieced everything together perfectly, and our wedding video was phenomenal. I loved what he captured so much that I ended up wanting even the raw footage, and Patrick was incredibly helpful and responsive in getting that to me. Patrick completely exceeded every expectation I had. I am so grateful we chose him to capture one of the most important days of our lives. He captured memories we will treasure forever!

My husband and I were…read moreinitially nervous to be in front of the camera but Brandi got us through it and made us feel so at ease and natural. The day of the wedding she was so responsive, helpful, and intuitive. Our wedding day had a jam-packed schedule and she pushed through it amazingly! (That was our fault--we tried jamming everything into a short amount of time--but she was awesome about it!) She even stayed longer than our agreed upon time frame because we were running a little behind. I told her that she didn't have to stay since it was already past the time she was supposed to leave but she insisted, with grace, that she stay to capture the last few important moments (bouquet toss, etc.). That's just one example of her amazing customer service. Another example is her willingness to travel! She made the long drive from SLO to Sacramento twice for us which was awesome of her and convenient for us! When it came to the cost, we loved that Brandi was so willing to be flexible. At the time of our wedding I was in the middle of a non-paid teacher credential program and my husband was putting in tons of OT just to get us through our monthly bills and expenses. We really appreciated that she was willing to work out a price that fit our budget, but was also fair for her as well. The best thing about working with Brandi, besides the above mentioned, was that you can clearly see the passion and love she has for photographing people's most special moments. She's such a down to Earth lady! It felt like she was another one of our friends celebrating with us, not just "the photographer," and I really liked that! Our pictures came out amazing, and we couldn't be happier that we decided to go with Brandi! I can't wait to have her capture future special moments for us! Having Antonio capture both raw footage and a highlight video adds so much to how we will remember our wedding, letting us relive the day in ways photos alone cannot. We immediately got a sense of warmth and charisma from the power couple. :) There are countless things that I can say about them but I'll say my top which I think may be of service to others who are scouting for their photographer/videographer: -Kasie and Patrick are extremely in sync. They tell it like it is in a very tactful and get-down-to-business way. When you're up against the clock, and you don't have a lot of time to be indecisive .. they can help you make sound decisions, as they are experts at their craft. Our hotel venue could not let us know where we could have a moment for the first look, but they scouted out the best spot right away. -great communication. Most of our wedding guests complimented how nice they were and how efficient and quick they were. -on my wedding day there were countless moments of stress that I could never in a million years foresee (I tried to plan for things so it'd be smooth sailing day-of) and they were like so nice to me when I felt my head was going to explode with anxiety. One of my favorite moments of the day they probably don't remember, but it was when Kasie and I were in the elevator before the first look and she was just so empathetic and kind to listen to me vent about how I felt in over my head with having such a big bridal party (who were a hand full to say in the least!) .. and also Patrick helping me put on my high heel shoes again when I took them off since they were killing my feet. 1000% would seek their services again if I'm in the area again to visit, or in town for a family reunion.
