Finally got to try AM and boy did it live up to the expectation! The menu had a vast array of food and I felt that it was a well rounded menu. There were salads, sandwiches, soups, and hearty meals. All were full of fresh ingredients. I got the pimento cheese sandwich and pasta salad. The pasta salad was stellar- not overly dressed and a good portion. The sand which was good, just slightly under seasoned. I love that they offer a whole freezer worth of food to take home. I was pleasantly surprised by my dining experience at Ashley Mac's. The restaurant is big and bright. Plenty of seating. You order at the register at the back of the restaurant and they bring your food to the table. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Club - chicken, bacon, honey mustard, lettuce and tomato on a croissant. It was really good. I got the Greek Pasta Salad as my side. Loved it. Not heavy on the mayo - light and lots of flavor. I had to try dessert. I opted for the mini cupcake variety pack. 6 mini cupcakes for $5.99. They were all delicious. I like the variety on the menu - it's not just chicken salad and boring sandwiches. I met a couple of girlfriends here for lunch last week. I'd never been so I was excited because I'd heard great things about Ashley Mac's. I had their chicken salad on a croissant and Mac and cheese.ill say that they Mac and cheese was really good, but I was disappointed with the chicken salad. It seemed dry and a bit bland. I have heard of this place, have even ordered it for work (for an event that I couldn't attend) but I stopped by for lunch today. Got the pick two. Soup of the day was cream of chicken noodle and I combined it with the chicken salad. First let me say the customer Service was superb, food was hot and plentiful and the other staff members were very nice as well. I loved the chicken salad! One of my favorite soup, salad, and sandwich places! Have been several times. My only complaint and minus the 5th star is that I wish the option for the "choose two" would be any half of the sandwiches besides only the chicken salad or pimento cheese. Their house made poppyseed vinaigrette and house made Dijon vinaigrette are the bomb! The chicken salad sandwich is good, as well as the baby bleu salad. Had the new wild mushroom tart today. AMAZING. Full of flavor, and baked oh so well. I am also the biggest fan of their sour cream biscuits (though small, golf ball size) they are some of the moistest biscuits ever. I have dined here on a few occasions for lunch and each time it's been good. I have only ever tried the chicken club and my mother the chicken salad sandwich. The chicken club is very flavorful and filling. I tasted my mom's sandwich and the chicken salad was good as well. the food is very filling but not like some restaurants where it's overwhelming and too much. you walk out full but not stuffed. it's just the right amount. the service is very good for a fast lunch restaurant. the prices are reasonable for the food you get. they have a lot of take out frozen foods in a cooler that would be good for a quick dinner at home. i have never tried them but my mom has and said they are good. overall it is a good lunch spot and i would recommend. it's off the beaten path across from hobby lobby and there is plenty of parking. read more

We had this catered at our company today for a lunch and learn event. Food arrived promptly and warm! Order included: Pork Tenderloin: Sliced pork tenderloin basted with our homemade marinade. Served with our homemade mustard sauce. Really good! Had a semi smoked flavor to the pork. Mandarin Orange Salad: Mandarin oranges, crisp celery, chopped green onions, feta cheese, and sugared almonds. Served over a bed of mixed greens with our homemade Dijon Vinaigrette. Good as well, also came with fresh strawberries. Cheesy Twice Baked Mashed Potatoes: Really good and included crispy bacon topping. Brown Sugar Bacon Green Beans: Another really good side. Wasn't sure how well I would like this, but I would definitely pick this one again. Triple Chocolate Brownies: Really moist and flavorful. This was a good choice to add to the rotation that we normally get. Lots of catering options available so we should have some great variety when using them in the future. I love Ashley Macs but this location, by far was my worst experience, my food was cold and my sandwich was served on white bread instead of a croissant, when I called and asked about it the women on the phone acted like she didn't have a care in the world, she stated that there system changed and we had to ask for a croissant. I think your customers should be notified of that before ordering smh, and the potatoes were cold and hard.I will never be back to this location, I spent my money on a meal I didn't even enjoy smh. read more

Ashley's Mac's is always a favorite lunch spot of mine. The food is consistently good, and they have some of the best chicken salad around (grapes, celery, finely ground chicken, and very little mayo). There portion sizes are not huge, and I do wish they still gave you chips and a side with sandwiches like they used to rather than recently changing their menu to your choice of just one or the other. Still, this is a great little restaurant that I enjoy and frequent often. read more

So we have been driving by this place for a year or so. We even went inside one time. We left because my wife wasn't in the mood for it. We finally ate here and I really liked it. I had the Bistro Steak Sandwich. I loved it! The mix of balsamic vinaigrette and creamy horseradish was awesome. eating are is very large and spacious. the unique thing about this place is they sell family sized meals to go. You can just come in and grab and go. They have a row of coolers with everything ready to go. This is a nice alternative and should not be missed out on. read more

For lunch on Saturday I had a salad sampler with spicy pimento cheese, a chopped BLT salad and Greek pasta salad, my wife had the beef and bleu sliders with broccoli salad, my son the chicken salad on croissant and my daughter the toasted cheese. It was nice for an occasional light lunch. The service was prompt and my salad did not have a single leave of wilted or slimy lettuce. Everything seemed freshly prepared. If you're starving or looking for a substantial meal this is not the place for you! My wife and her friends frequent another location of Ashley Mac's and are big fans! Had one of the worst salads of my life here. I got the Cobb salad. I love all types of salads, but for $11 I expected way more meat in this salad. I had 85% lettuce, 5% Turkey deli meat(which was very bland and tasteless), 5% bacon, and little to nothing else. The croutons were not seasoned at all. What a little gem of a place! My first visit was a carryout order for lunch today, Chicken Salad Sandwich and Broccoli Salad, $9 and some change. The place itself felt so clean, seriously, it actually FELT clean. Perhaps they run some sort of air filtration system? Or maybe they just keep a clean restaurant, but it was definitely a 'feel' rather than a 'smell'. There is also a feel of 'chic'ness' to the place. I think it is definitely more of a 'feminine' place, but I notice some reviews from guys, so maybe not so much? Anyway, the chicken salad sandwich was out of this world delish! It was pulled chicken, not chunks of chicken. No joke, I don't know that I have ever had a better chicken salad than what this was. And it was generously served on a buttery croissant, with a fresh green leaf of lettuce on the side. The broccoli slaw was scrumptious! I was expecting a typical slaw made with broccoli, but it is actually what I call Broccoli Salad, made with cut broccoli florets.
