Uncertain of our next move we put out the word for a second option. From Dallas, Dr. Sun took an immediate interest in my sons concerns. Within hours she had reviewed his information and was giving our family immediate measures to take. He was admitted to the hospital the next day. Doctors there found blood clots in his arm and did surgery the Following day. We were told that if this had not been addressed when it was, there was a very good chance Colton could have lost his hand, arm, or life. "Dr. Lucy" will have a special place in my heart for going over and above the call of duty for my sons welfare. Thank You Dr.Lucy!

The doctor will seem…read moreso nice and Christian-like (not to be confused with being an actual Christian) in the beginning, which is what drew me in in the first place. you will get attached. then the very second that you need her for anything more serious than a hangnail you will be left in the weeds to fend for yourself. She admitted to me today that even when hospitals tell you to follow up with your PCP, your primary doctor is rarely helpful. Over the past year, I have had to record each and every visit just because she changes her reasoning from visit to visit. She will adamantly state that she did, or did not, say something, even though I have the previous conversation recorded. My friends and family have been telling me for the last year that I need a different doctor, that this one is ineffectual, but I defended her tooth and nail. I made excuses for her age, for the fact that she was starting a new practice, for her home life, and for the constant turnover and bad breaks concerning her front office staff. However, enough is enough. The last straw came and so I explained to her we would be parting ways due to the fact I no longer feel she's capable of providing adequate medical care to me. Her response... I will still be calling your other physicians( specialists) to tell them how I feel you should be treated. AKA let's see how badly I can blow up your life in retaliation.

Surgery is only a couple of weeks away now, and I've had more dealings with Dr. McCarty and his…read morestaff, all of them positive. This past Wednesday, I attended a nutrition meeting at the office with other pre-op patients and I also had a meeting with the doctor so he could address my concerns or questions. Yes, I'm scared/excited but have full confidence in Dr. McCarty. When I met other pre-op patients, it was interesting to discuss how they came to have the procedure here. Two of the three class participants were from out of town. One woman and her husband drove a ways and the other patient flew in. They had both been referred to Dr. M. by friends and family. So here we go! I can hardly wait 1-6-2020 Surgery is behind me now and the process could not have gone more smoothly. Dr. McCarty and his team have very efficient systems in place so checking into the hospital was simple and I felt well-prepared for what to expect from the surgery. Further, Dr. McCarty gave me lots of printed information prior to the surgery so if I had questions, I looked up the answers rather than calling his office right away. All of my answers were there. So all systems are go; I highly recommend Dr. M. and his team.

I was told by her that my insurance wouldn't cover the surgery, (that's fine, I can cover the cost, I was using Dr Dill based on a REFERRAL of a satisfied client). Whitney told me that she would get me the information about pricing and would call back.. 3 weeks later I called her and she said that she had wrote notes that she informed me of pricing and that I would "think about it." She NEVER called me to inform me of anything...I had to practically drag the pricing and the process out of her. Just because a patient's insurance doesn't cover the surgery doesn't mean the patient can't afford to pay for the surgery.. Thanks.. but No Thanks...

Dr. Collins and the staff at this office helped make my first pregnancy really easy and special…read more Dr. Collins handled me with care and I would recommend this practice to anyone. The staff working the front desk are friendly, efficient, and easy to talk to. The nurses are pleasant and caring. And the ultrasound tech made the experience of seeing my unborn baby very special. My pregnancy lasted before COVID and after lockdowns began. The practice quickly adjusted to keep me safe whenever I came for appointments and during delivery. I also had gestational diabetes during my pregnancy and Dr. Collins really helped me strategize on how to keep me and my unborn child healthy. Even during my delivery, Dr. Collins was very responsive and was present to deliver my baby. I just can't say enough positive comments about this practice. I highly recommend.

My experience with this office has been extremely disappointing. The only reason I tried hard to…read morestay was because I really like Dr. Wagner. I wanted to continue my care with him after seeing him in Grand Prairie before he moved offices. Unfortunately, the front office staff and billing coordinators, Dina and Lisa at Obstetrics and Associates of Dallas, have made every step stressful and unprofessional. When I first tried to schedule as a new OB patient with Dr. Wagner, they told me they didn't take my BCBS HMO insurance plan. I called my insurance, who confirmed they did, and even provided a letter showing coverage for both the doctor and the office, but they still refused to see me. I ended up switching insurance plans just to have Dr. Wagner for my first pregnancy. It then took over a month to get an appointment because the ultrasound tech was booked. When I finally arrived, after completing all my online forms, I was told nothing came through and had to redo everything in person which delayed the time. Another patient sitting next to me said the same thing happened to her. Why text forms for patients to complete online, just to tell us that it didn't come through after we submitted it in their portal? After I submitted all my paperwork, they called my name and also told me I needed to pay $350 upfront just to see the doctor without even running my insurance first. That was strange to me, and sure enough, I later found out I overpaid and still have a credit sitting at their office. That frustration made it hard to even enjoy my ultrasound, which should have been a special and joyful experience especially as a first-time mom. It was super rushed and just not what I expected, but still I persevered just to have Dr. Wagner as my OBGYN. Then came the final straw, the billing issue. Dina emailed me stating they needed to collect my 2026 deductible now. I explained that I've already met my 2025 deductible (it's October 2025), that my 2026 deductible isn't even due yet, and that I'm switching insurance plans next month. Even with that information, they still insisted I pay $1,136 upfront or be referred to another office. I had actually emailed Dina about this five days earlier, but she didn't respond until the morning of my appointment, with the billing manager, Lisa, on the line simply repeating the same thing. They claimed it's "company policy" to collect future deductibles in advance, like a layaway, which makes absolutely no sense. Why would I pay that much money for a plan I won't even have in a few weeks? It wasn't about whether I could pay, it was about the principle and how unreasonable the policy is. I even told them I'd be happy to pay my new deductible once I'm enrolled in my new plan, but they wouldn't listen. Their only focus was on collecting money instead of understanding the situation. If this really is a company policy, it needs to be reviewed immediately, because no patient should be treated this way especially after all the effort I went through just to stay with this doctor. I ultimately decided to transfer to another office. Dr. Wagner is cool, but the front and billing staff completely ruin the experience. This office has been disorganized and unprofessional from start to finish.
